Iro Nic Cesar Mendez I waited a long time seeking for the Spirit baptism.I then prayed & went ahead & began to speak some syllables.I thought it was just what I made up but that night I felt God’s presence so strongly that made It evident enough that I received the anointing.Ever since I’ve been speaking in tongues & the vocabulary has developed.I also see other evidences such as dreams & visions & deeper revelation of His Word.In essence I am trying to say that sometimes we wait for the time we would loose total control & get a super ecstasy feeling & God takes over.There are times that happens but God also wants us to move forward in faith & just start exercising it.After everything in Christianity,including Salvation is birthed out of faith.So don’t wait for a rushing mighty wind but move forward in faith in total sincerity.God moves in different ways & not always as expected.

@@TXMadep214g I was on a 21 day full fast. When I received the baptism on day 18. What I really feel contributed to receiving the gift of tongues is just hungering for the Lord and desiring to be close to Him. I kept asking and asking even when I wanted to give up. It was when I was on my knees in worship alone in my own home that I began to run out of words to say but I wanted to tell Jesus all that was in my heart that I did not care what came out of my mouth. It was then that the Holy Spirit took took over my groaning and I let Him. I felt a bubbling in my spirit and the most beautiful language began to just flow out of my mouth. It was one of the most incredible encounters I've ever had with the Lord. Don't give up! Keep asking and believing that He will give you your own prayer language. He will give it to you. I had to get out of my own way. You don't need to be too worried about it and you need to want Him more than you want the gift. This was one of my problems. I hope this helps. A Porsche and an airplane both are fast and powerful but an airplane is more powerful and faster than a Porsche. A Spirit filled person is like an airplane and a Porsche is like a person not filled with the Holy Spirit. There is no comparison between them. A person filled with the Spirit is unlimited in their capacity to understand and receive God in the Spiritual realm. The unfilled person is limited to the earthly realm.

Come out of the churches into the Spirit of Life and Truth, Jesus Christ, the love of God manifested on earth! God Almighty made a testament/will in the OT with us that we should inherit His kingdom. So for this testament/will to be activated the testator has to die. For where there is a testament, there must also of necessity be the death of the testator. Hebrews 9.16. That is why God Almighty had to die on the cross (He didn't cease to exist just like we do not cease to exist when we die) but He died in the flesh so that He could spill HIS holy blood Therefore take heed to yourselves and to all the flock, among which the Holy Spirit has made you overseers, to shepherd the church of God which He purchased with His own blood. Acts 20.28 so that whoever believes in this gift of LOVE (self sacrifice John 15.13, Romans 5.8) should receive His Holy Spirit and be sealed for the kingdom (receive the inheritance) You must believe in the Christ, the LOVE (self sacrifice/death) of God manifested in the flesh because it was the love of God that fulfilled the law that brings death. Owe no one anything except to love one another, for he who loves another has fulfilled the law. 9 For the commandments, “You shall not commit adultery,” “You shall not murder,” “You shall not steal,” “You shall not bear false witness,” “You shall not covet,” and if there is any other commandment, are all summed up in this saying, namely, “You shall love your neighbour as yourself.” 10 Love does no harm to a neighbour; therefore love is the fulfilment of the law. Romans 13 So if you believe in the love (self sacrifice/death) of God in the flesh, the death of the testator, you will be born again and receive His inheritance, His Holy Spirit and will no longer be under the law. Trinity and unitarianism (and all other religions) will lead you therefore to hell because both doctrines demand a faith, in which a separate father sends his separate son to the cross. Whoever believes in this, whoever puts their faith in this sacrifice of an other, does not believe in the selfless self sacrificing Love of God, and will therefore not receive the Spirit of God but the spirit of the selfish (satanic) anti (in stead of) Christ. God is SPIRIT and when He came to earth, He was still in heaven at the same time No one has ascended to heaven but He who came down from heaven, that is, the Son of Man who is in heaven. John 3.13 That is how God Most High Himself was able to go to the cross and spill His holy blood and therefore activate the testament/will. This is the gospel of peace which is based on the love of God. All I have told you is biblical.

Hi Dora.I just ran across your post.You might have already recieved the Holy Spirit baptism, but here goes for those that haven't.The Bible says that God gives the Holy Spirit to those that " obey" and to those that "ask".Being baptized in the Holy Spirit is recieving the Holy Spirit to overflowing.The apostles never taught that one could recieve the Spirit and then later recieve the Spirit baptism.They are to be the same event.Once you have repented and been water baptized you are to start praying for the Lord to fill you with His Spirit.Get a couple ladies that have already recieved the Holy Spirit baptism to pray with you.We don't decide when God is to give us the Spirit, He does.So you pray and keep praying until He does.Make sure you have forgiven anyone that has ever caused you harm and forgive yourself for any harm you have caused and tell the Lord you do.When He starts filling you with the Spirit you will know it.You won't have to wonder if He has you WILL know it! When He is filling you you MUST surrender your tongue to the Spirit so that He can testify through you, in His language( tongues) that you are " born of the Spirit( John ch.3). Just relax your tongue.You will know when He takes control of it.Him doing so causes the overflowing Spirit baptism.That's when His Spirit joins with your spirit and they become " one".At that point His Spirit stays within you forever and you can pray in your language and He can pray through you and for you in His.
