TESTIMONY | How I received the gift of tongues + TEACHING | Who is the Holy Spirit?

It's been a long time comin'! Haha I finally got around to filming this video after so many months. Nonetheless, God is still good and He's still on the throne, that's all that ever mattered, right?
In the beginning of this video I cover my testimony as to how I got baptized in the Holy Spirit and towards the middle/end I did a general teaching on who the Holy Spirit is, what His significance is for us as believers, and more.

Great testimony sis ! I went to an Apostolic church church on a Friday night. I had never been raised in a church but I was seeking. I had felt the Lord's presence the night before but I knew that what I had felt on the outside I needed on the inside. I didn't know it at the time but I was asking for the Holy Spirit baptism. When the altar call was given I went up and told a couple of the altar workers that I wanted what I was feeling on the outside of me inside me. They took me back to a prayer room and told me to kneel, close my eyes and start asking the Lord for what I wanted. So I did. After a few minutes I heard foot steps and heard the pastors voice in front of me telling me." Brother Bob, stand up, lift your hands and recieve the Holy Ghost. So I stood up, with my eyes still closed and lifted my hands. I immediately saw a window appear to my upper right. It had what looked like those old fashioned shutters on the outside ends of it and they were wide open. I looked in the window and saw the most beautiful.blue sky I had ever seen. Then I saw a bright light appear inside the window at the left side corner. It started moving across my field of vision until it reached the center, stopped and shined on me. I then felt this warmth moving up my legs. I felt like my body was a container and I was being filled with a warm oil from my my feet upwards. So as this filling continued to rise up my body i'm rejoicing and thanking the Lord for answering my prayer. As the filling approached my head I heard the pastors voice again telling me to surrender my tongue to.the Holy Spirit. So I stopped thanking Him and relaxed my tongue. Suddenly I felt control of my tongue seized and it took off and I was speaking this stuttery sounding language I had never learned. I was so filled with joy I was " beside myself, I was so happy. So we're those praying with me. I led the way out of the prayer roim and stopped and faced the congregation. Suddenly I felt such love for these people like I was looking at beloved family members and didn't personally know any of them. I felt like I had a little sun in my head and I could feel it's rays beaming out from around my head and face.

The first time I receiver holy spirit, I was very happy, I now believe there is God , I was so happy, the next day i try to speak he did come until I pray for more than one hour, God is great , the holy spirit don't want noise, I am a mother of three kids when ever I what to pray with the holy spirit my baby will just gry mamma food, after giving her what she wants, I will try to go back if I can speak in the holy spirit he don't come, so w need a quote place were Der is not disturb, thanks God bless you

@@myinsignificantopinion799 All that are baptized in the Holy Spirit speak in tongues. It is to pray for the Lord to fill you with the Holy Spirit fervently and continually until He answers your prayer and fills you. Then you must yield your tongue to the Spirit until He takes control of it and enables you to speak in tongues. After this occurs you'll be able to pray in this spiritual language anytime you want. When I recieved I had a couple brothers who had already recieved lay hands on me and pray with me and for me. What it means to be baptized in the Holy Spirit is to be filled to overflowing.

Rosalie Gonzalez romans 11:29 states that the gifts and calks are without repentance. Meaning that once God has given a gift or call he never takes it back no matter what. There could be many reasons one feels unable to speak in tongues. Could be you are apprehensive, fearful you could be afraid of what you sound like when you speak. Or maybe you have fallen into sin and have yet to forgive yourself. One more thing we must always understand the spirit and the things of God are not dependent upon how we feel or what we feel. Spirit and emotion are separate. Just because we say i dont feel Gods presence doesnt mean he not there. So we cant rely on feelings what we feel isnt always truth. Praying for you in the lord

Let me say something here, I think most believers don't recognise that speaking in tongues is a language, and you can grow more fluent the more you speak , let's take a baby who starts speaking for the first time, he/she stammers first, then pronounces Dada or mama, as he/she grows older and hears what other people speak, he understands and is able to speak more boldly in whatever language dominates that environment or what ever language he is taught. Same way, when you start speaking in Tongues, you might be speaking just two - three sentences, but as you continue to spend more time praying in tongues , than In Your own understanding, you become more fluent as the Holy Spirit gives you more utterance, though it has nothing to do with you, except that you have to yield yourself (your mouth), As you grow you will begin to find yourself singing, praying, and ministering to the lord in tongues , if you pray consistently enough , you will enter into the realms of interpretation of tongues. (Acts 13:2), 1cor. 14:15, eph. 5:19

Go visit an Apostolic Pentecostal church and at the altar call and tell them that you would like someone to pray with you to recieve the Holy Spirit baptism. Keep earnestly praying until the Lord answers your prayer.

For this kind of request, I did advice you to pray the Lord for the intervention of his minister angels according to Hebrews 1:14, Ask the Lord to send his angels to intervene and prosper the desire of your heart, I believe all our prayers are answered the very first time we thought about it, (even before we asked) 1john 5:14-15, Let your heart meditate on the Father's Love and how eager he is to give you every good desire of your heart.

God does EVERYTHING in His own order. In Acts 2, "tongues" means "languages". When the "gift of languages" was "given" (not taught), people from neighboring regions heard "the wonderful works of God" in their own native language. In I Corinthians 14, in the King James Version, the word "unknown" is "italicized", letting us know that word was NOT in the original manuscript. The languages were KNOWN; the "mysteries" were NOT. For those who supposedly "speak in languages" today, what are the names of the languages, and from what regions do they "hail" from?

I was told i could buy a tape and learn the free gift of tongues.... Sounded like more extortion... "God is not the author of confusion." I will take it a step further, I prayed to be protected and people fell backwards and I was one of the only one's left standing. Also, I have had some claim to have the gift of prophecy and nothing they said came to pass. Just look at date setter Harold Camping. Too much sexual molestation, pedophilia and sex crimes inside churches. Bible says Jesus is THE GOOD SHEPHERD, which neans the others are wolves. Read John 10:8 and look at the doors the wolvrs go in through. I was physically assaulted when I got up to leave because I felt I was being attacked on spiritual level. I said I needed to go because I left something in my car. The costumned thug's hand released me and I left and never went back. If it is a gift that is if Gid and if God want's me to speak in unknown tongues then God will give me the free gift. I have looked at videos on kundalini and python spirits, etc. And it does not make sense to ask to be attacked on spiritual level. Look at rate of pedophilia in churches. I was sleep talking in Italian and I never had a class in Italian. I think thst that is more what speaking in tongue is. A friend said that I woke everyone up in the room because of how loud I was and said I was speaking as if I had taken college level Italian III. How would speaking giberish attract people to Jesus? I might be wrong, but I have seen cults like Jim Jones, etc. and I don't care to drink any cool-aid...

Correct. Tongues are spoken known human languages. Many take and twist scripture out of context to make the case that tongues are unknown angelic languages. Paul was using hyperbole in 1 Cor 14 to make his case that Love is what matters the most.
