I just watched that video, the comments weren't hateful. People were just trying to explain to you that a barking dog is annoying for many people who go to campsites for peace and quiet away from the noise of the city. Also, FYI - I have a dog and travel with a trailer so stay at parks.

I just subscribed when I saw your interview with Bob Wells and Im glad I did!! I love that you are so real!! Its ashame that some people cant appreciate an genuine person like you. I also love the Way you film your You tube videos and talk at a normal pace!!! So many other You tubers just flash quick scenes and talk so fast its irritating, unlike how movies are filmed and edited!! Hi Phyl. I like your style and personality. Being on the road is not easy and adding a You Tube Channel is work. So in short I vote you should be focused on living your life letting the camera capture the whole experience. Viewers are gonna either watch with open minds and hearts or be a bunch of sour grapes. Comments are about the commenter not the artist. And I have noticed that some people just don't know how to express in a nuanced fashion. I'm sorry that it is affecting your work. Do what you do. Drama is part of life. Your channel is adventurous, emotionally wide ranging and creative. Subtlety in our current culture is a rarity at this time. You are enough. You are beautiful. That's correct, people can always switch off. I hope you find the support you need outside as well as inside of KZbin.

Hi Phyllis, I usually watch ALL of your posted videos and enjoy seeing the more real side of what its like on the road for you. I am a FT Rver as well, but don't have a channel :-) I agree with you that "you may be sharing too much" I believe many people pick up the negative content and then simply use that as an outlet for them to release their own built up frustrations. Although I know nothing about having a U Tube channel I don't think I'd post anything negative that gives people that fuel. :-)))) John

Gotta ignore the negative, some people have nothing better to do. You have alot of fans out there. Be positive and continue to post content. You're fortunate to live your life freely and do it your way. Have a great Xmas Phyllis and continue to share your journeys with us. . I review things that I buy and did a review on a cordless mower. I got some negative comments but I didn't let that phase me. That video so far has gotten me 15k views...many more positive comments than negative.

New Subscriber :-) You keep doing what you’re doing! And by the way….. All Dogs are very Welcome in Wyoming! My Dog is a “Talker” too. I hike with her every day, which wipes her out, and she sleeps good all day. Hihi. If you enjoy hiking with your sweet dog… I highly recommend the trails near Laramie, Wyoming! In Summer, there is the "Snowy Range" mountain trails. (SugarLoaf trails are my favourite) And mostly year round, there is "Vedauwoo" area, just east of Laramie. Free camping, and happy dogs & happy people everywhere. All the best to you. Take Care!

I use to do more SUV Camp but I deleted a lot of them, I been kayaking and SUV Camping for a long time before I found out there was people on KZbin doing the same, so I started but I prefer to keep it to myself so many times I go out I don't record any, so I can enjoy my trip better 😊. You are my cain of people I like and meet out when I go for a adventure. That one of the things I like the most is meeting great and real people out there. I love your show, Arkansas is a great place to and lot's of free and beautiful places out there, I love my Texas but everything is becoming private or federal with to many restrictions, like last weekend I when to central Texas to a reservation and wasted my time and money getting there since everything was closed and the other areas was all rich Neighborhood private, You only play today can go to disperse camping is david crookes national forest , at least in Est Texas. I love to meet you if you are on this area.

This is actually the first video I've watched since deciding not to watch the video that turns out to be one you got blowback on. I wanted to watch to see if you were OK, but I simply avoid videos which might be clickbaity. Knowing now that it involved pet drama, I am super glad I didn't watch it. I might have even joined the negative commenters, because I generally blame 99% of pet drama on the pet owner. But I haven't watched it, so there is no risk of that, hahaha. I like you a lot, and plan to keep watching, but just as you might need a break from making videos, sometimes I need a break from watching videos on even some of my favorite channels. Often a drama video or clickbaity title will trigger that break. Some of my favorite videos of yours are probably ones you classify as drama or over sharing. But don't let that affect what you decide to share in the future. Share what you want to.

If 90% of your audience negatively commented on your actions in that video, it makes sense to consider the possibility that they have a point. Conflating valid criticism with "hate" is a common, easy way of deflection. If, in your mind, everyone's got it wrong but you, the contrary is probably true.
