Your experience is a good warning to women to never give out your location on ANY social media site, because you never know if there are indeed men posing as a woman in order to find and harm them.

Wow! Glad it ended well for you. I’ve wish they knew who this Karen was so they could give her some instant justice! What a waste of our law enforcement resources that was utilities for this false report. Please, don’t ever give any information out on you or your location. There are a lot of freaks out there that. Be safe because your tribe needs to hear from you.

When you call 911, they do request the name and number of the caller. I can't imagine this was done purely through a FB post... but I suppose that's possible. They can go back and find out who owns that account if it was through FB. If someone is weird or ugly, I don't delete my account, I simply block that person. I have good experiences on FB, though I have not used it to meet people, I have made friends through other friends from around the world.

You were lucky it was law enforcement, not some guys coming up there to get you. Never give out your location when you are alone. As far as women go they never get along. It's the reason I am divorced now. My wife's friends were so jealous they convinced my wife to leave me by telling her lies. No matter what I said she believed them. Now she needs them but they abandoned her. I see why kids today don't get married, it's just not worth the problems. I'll never go through that hell again.

Also, my lovely wife of 43-years and I talk about why she has only 3, or maybe 4 ,long-held, close friends who are women. It's her theory that women learn to network and to support each other only as far as that behavior serves their immediate needs, personally, or for the family. Pretty much: here today, gone tomorrow. I don't know if that is common, but it is her life's experience. And I've only had two (2) female friends out of a life lived long and fully: my wife and my sister. Maybe that's female hard-wiring, or maybe that's a learned thing. Somehow males are either hard-wired to form life-long bonds, or learn that skill as boys. We certainly are wired differently. C

Phyllis I’m cautiously suggesting to you if you want to make friends best not to become hostile and flip people off. AND, NEVER tell where you are especially exactly where you are. Making plans to meet with people since you are new to this just ask instead of assuming things and putting yourself in danger and making trouble for people. I am sorry what you did was just no bueno.
@humorbased99 Жыл бұрын

Yes I would also support Phyllis because life is a big classroom for learning. I personally don’t gossip because it’s none of my business what other people do and think. They can find the swatter, if they really want to. Always never post a location , until after you left there. Stay safe. I get it, to travel in a group is safer. Just like in swimming. I always told my daughter, when visiting friends house. If your friend leaves the room, you two stay together. We always emphasized the buddy system. There is no reason to be alone with her dad, uncle, ect…. My daughter is a long distance runner and she doesn’t always listen about running alone. Ladies and children go missing all the time. I hope you find a safety group, with no hassle.

Phyllis, no one gets away with anything. The law of reciprocity will take care of that misguided woman. Consider yourself lucky it wasn't the other way around. She was a man and came to find you. Never give your location. Just do a meet-up to get the nutral location. Be safe.
@modernwonder Жыл бұрын
And honestly this is a direct result of anti trans hysteria. No one realizes it also hurts cis women (in more ways than this one). That caller legitimately thought you were a man dressed as a woman, she thought she was turning in a trans "predator", because that's what they repeat over and over in the media, even though it's totally bs. Sad.
