@@thenexus7343 but there's a key difference. Baki makes this easy to understand with ten minutes of exposition for every blow, stance, and maneuver. In kengan they usually just pummel eachother.... There are characters who are FTL or have insane attack potency and durability. They just won't tell you that this one punch exerted a force of 100 tonnes into the sternum and broke these specific 20 bones and ruptured these specific organs causing this exact effect. Kengan requires a bit of observation for yourself.

Yeah. Take Toriko, One Piece and Dragon Ball collab for example. Logically, Goku can solo Luffy and Toriko in his base form (This collab was with DB characters before DBS, instead in the end of Z). But of course, Goku had to go Super Saiyan and even all the way to Super Saiyan 3 against some weak ass monster (atleast weak compared to DB standards)

Licensing is a hell of a battle to get over. It’s the main reason why most anime crossovers tend to be inner company like how Marvel or DC do them. Hell, it was easier to get Street Fighter, Tekken and Fatal Fury characters to all be canon to each other than it is for a lot of anime from unrelated companies to do a crossover.

Personally... I call it way closer than most think. The problem is it SEEMS like baki has better feats because every time they take a stance or land a blow theres a 10 minute exposition explaining every little detail. Kengan does less of that and sticks more to pummeling eachother because its a damn fight show. There are several people in kengan with FTL speeds, building level or higher power and defensive techniques or durability to tank these blows. Plus, more realistic marital arts.

I just wanted to see them pull put thier best moves. I'm disappointed it wasn't longer, plus that. Not about who wins or loses, just that all characters have pulled some cool stuff I would've loved to see here. For example, the cockroach dash from Baki, and 90° vertical start Pickle managed to pull, I wish Baki got a chance to try that

It was a movie where we got to see people beat the shit out of each other That was the purpose of it and it succeeded Plus with crossovers like these it has to be remembered that they have to try and not do one side too much justice or show favoritism, when that happens we get messes like the Ben 10 vs Green Lantern Death Battle We got three amazing fights with six amazing characters, that’s what I wanted from it and it’s what I got to see so I’m all for more of this crossover

It would have taken way longer to make but when watching the film it felt really quick, they go to the arena, quick introduction, fight, fight over, another one inmediatly starts. It really seemed like they were trying too hard to make it fan service, there were some moments that didn’t make sense at all like pickle walking in for 10 seconds just to basically get thrown out. They most likely threw him in to make the fans happy. It also felt like a rush job almost like a kid who was a fan of both made a fan fic story about it. Still really enjoyed it though and I’m excited for part two.

I love the movie, I'm just glad that the creators didn't spend the whole movie trying to explain am upper kick, what I'm really disappointed about, is the fact that we didn't saw everyone fighting, there are so many people, I would love to see go toe to toe, a caveman vs an abnormal wrestler, a super bodybuilder and a guy who can't die, a buff doctor vs scrawny doctor, Fang vs Yujiro, OH!!! soo many!, would definitely love to see part 2.
