One more thing to note is that when kasumi is hitting u, u cant tell where she is actually attacking from and u have to do an entire 360° to find her

I think that fits her ghostly vibe very well, as well as making sense considering her weapon. I’ve also noticed you can predict where she is if you have enough map awareness. Definitely makes her feel unique to fight and engage against.

Dats fine though… I got no issue with this.. it actually made me care enough to really be aware of map positioning more.. and as a result I find my self actually have improved performance.. 😂 if ur getting stabbed.. game sense and map awareness should click and give u likely spots where it’s coming from.. so I absolutely disagree and will vehemently resist attempts to remove this… PAY ATTENTION.. learn the maps.. that’s on u.. I now don’t have this being much of an issue… though I do agree it’s annoying and problematic at first especially if U make the choice to not out in the sense of deduction.. it’s really not that hard to know where ur NOT BEING STABBED FROM.. so be proxy u know where ur being stabbed from.. like if ur doing a “360” then that means ur not even paying attention to ur screen cause she’s has to be on ur screw in if she’s hitting u from those angles/degrees or are ur paying attention to ur close surroundings cause u should know if there’s wall and ceiling around u so she can’t hit u from there... 😂 not tryna be mean butt PAY ATTENTION.. lmao when I get too focused on something sure it happens to me BUTT THATS MY FAULT.. not a kusumi players… why would I blame other things cause I wasn’t using my brain..? it shouldn’t be nerfed cause ur bad at it.. xb EDIT: it’s a team game .. if Kasumi is hitting u from the sides or behind.. u need to talk to ur flanks and or help them out.. if Kusumi is clapping ur cheeks from behind ur team deserves it.. y’all allowed her to get around.. shouldn’t u have to pay for mistakes u make and ur team makes?! So I got zero issue with it 😂 the way I see it.. y’all want auto sim reduce for its effect of removing player error YET want her hits to be traceable so u don’t have to be punished for player error if map awareness?! Anyone else noticed Katsumi being able to go through Zhin counter, I main Zhin and Katsumi does such high dmg and I can't always confidently block it.

The deflect still works but I'm not sure if the damage goes through deflect and I certainly am not sure either the primary or tear damage goes through Because when I hit zhin in his deflect stance. He still receives damage from either my lmb or rmb but the deflect still triggered

My biggest gripe about her is you have NO IDEA SHE IS HITTING YOU OR FROM WHERE. It's infuriating to be taking damage and have no freaking idea why. And yeah, her fear needs to work like the other fears. Several times I had no idea what was going on for a moment and was extremely confused. Body and Soul makes no sense on her. It feels like an initiate or trap-dodger, but....why would she be doing that? It actively hurts you if anybody knows where you are. I still think it should be a way to use abilities around a corner without going around the corner. Not move you at all, but let you dive those otherwise suicidal dives for a couple seconds

tried playing as a flank against kasumi, tried to do my usual job of -being sneaky -burst the healer or another easy target with element of surprise (which includes inaccurate aim) - leave using my superior mobility (which also includes inaccurate aim because this human weakness is the flank's strength). But now, with Kasumi, by the time that I assess the situation to find my prey, and when I decide to go on said target using the usual flank evasiness, by that time, I already got stabbed 3-4 times (and often with no idea of where the dmg came from) and I'm so used to people not hitting every shot, so I forget that I no longer have this luxury with her and overestimate my survivability coming from human error. And when I try to run away after taking too much dmg, I can't even throw off her aim with my mobility (the main selling point of flanks) and I still die. *_Kasumi feels like she has an aura around her where if you dare step within that aura as a squishy, you have to "beat the clock" or die instead of trying to outplay her like every other champion, you have to change your whole playstyle against her. You have to keep your own human inaccuracy to a minimum against her or you lose, no wiggle room. And now, no matter what the enemy team is, she is the priority target just so you can disable that aura and be allowed to play the game in that area again_*

5:55 that’s absolutely fine we do need counters to new champs. For example now when someone go Kasumi in ranked you can take viv to counter her “ its just example “ so buff Kasumi against shield and stuff its not important.

I hope fixing the auto aim "sensitivity" reduces her hits around corners as well. Getting mw2 vibes with how far around a corner she gets you sometimes which is all the more frustrating when you think you actually got away from her with your mobility

Just something I've done with this champion is if your going against a bounce house buck put a spirit trap on the floor where your standing and when he jumps on you immediately teleport to the trap and fear him.

I think the fix for the talent centered towards the movement ability is just make her body atleast 90-100% dr but can be affected by cc, or just keep the body damage-able but make it so that the talent makes you zoom faster but ends quicker and heal for like a percentage just like smolder zhin.

Thank you for pushing that about kasumi, i agree completely, her teleport and fear mechanic are really cool but that primary is sooo annoying and cheesy, is even more annoying than the andro talent, i just cant play against her without getting mad and that's not what games should be about, really hope they change those issues with those champions asap, although hopefully if they convert kasumi to normal aim, they should increase dmg a little at least due to flanks would be too good against her making it annoying to play as her i think at least

Kasumi is hard countered by shields, stealth and High HP/DR. Player stacking and deployables also really lower her damage output by eating curse stacks. Shes an entry level character for new players. Not viable at a competitive level against competent players. Perhaps lower the range on her attack a bit more would put her into a fair place. The aim is fine. The compensation hitbox for Snipers during actual matches is actually larger than Kasumi's.

I've been playing Maeve a lot recently, and forgot that Kasumi has auto-aim (video reminded me), and I was also so confused how she would be looking nowhere near me and hitting me, or barely peeked a corner and killing me. Also another question (not sure if this gets summed up in the video), but have they increased the range of Kasumi? I feel when she was first released she didn't have much aim, but I can double-dash away with Maeve and she still hits me.

I’d like to see the soul on her movement ability be invisible as well. It’ll augment it in just about every way it needs to be. I do say, the tightening of her aim would genuinely be all you need to fix her.

Played a game as her against a Khan and there's so many bugs between the two characters, specifically Khan's gran and ult it's wild how many times I made him miss.

Add Disarm when on 3 stacks to cut down the burst Choice burst to kill at 5 stacks or disarm at 3 stack

So true. I've played with u a few times. I'm CyrusPyrus I usually flank pip. But man very excellent and sound analysis. The only way for flank pip to deal with her is outrange, or go in super hard and kill her. My thing if I'm too close is to hop back and forth over her while trying damn hard to blow her up before she can re lock on . Evasion is easy to re lock on with her. But going up and over repeatedly is kinda her weakness because rarely do ppl look up. Hence why drog and android dominate usually

her auto aim wouldn't be that bad if the brackets weren't what was being used to shoot, they should remove the brackets so people will actually aim with thier reticles, reducing the cone size would be cool too

What's your opinion on her having a lock on timer rather than instant when looking around a corner? Even with the autoaim nerfed, you can still just hold left click while looking around a corner to instantly hit enemies without knowing there are enemies there. I think that having her have limited ammo is a good way counteract this issue, because being able to hold left click without repercussions to peek a corner by dealing damage due to having infinite ammo is too forgiving.

Kasumi should be a flank like she was supposed to be. Nerf her range by 25 to 30% Nerf empowered curse to 4% Slightly reduce her autoaim cone Then she would take skill to navigate the enemy backline. The dolls would be usefull as traps and a repositioning tool.

This champ is to op . That auto aim and range of her is just unbelievable. She can even kill people behind the wall . And she can hit trough zhins counter and andro reversal . They must be nerfed her very quickly . If they don't nerf her than i must play with vivian . She is a very good counter against kasumi .

I agree that her movement ability (body and soul) well at first I didn'T liked it, but it's not an escape... she's as I said a macrogameplay with no real escape plan, your escape plan are your traps. I just wish that her talent unfinished business would instead reduce the duration of Body and soul and increase her speed aswell, so that it reach pretty much teh same distance in less time, and heal still as the talent currently does; that way it could be more used as an escape.

I thought that at first to allow to teleport at will to your soul... but after playing her I don'T think so anymore... I understand the kit concept as more of and engage macro gameplay,... it's not meant to be an escape... the idea is you use it for engage/esplore an area and instantly go back... allow to move from hidden spot to other hiding without being seen. I think that my previous suggestion of the talent to just reduce the duration instead of increasing it and increase movement speed... would make it better ithout changing the concept of the kit.

As a caspain main Kasumi honestly makes me useless to my team. It's impossible to flank a support when a Kasumi and just look near me and delete my health and I can't do anything about it

Haven't watched the video yet. My biggest problems with kasumi are savage tear hitting you around corners, the savage tear damage card, like seriously this was a dumb card idea, and the lack of good visual or audio feedback that Kasumi is even there. Edit: This fucking Champion is insufferable. Everyone loves losing all their health because a Cassie, Lian, or Strix saw them for one second, right? Obviously we need that but without the possibility of human error or juking, and the likely hood that you'll still take the damage while around a corner.

i just got my friend into paladins and im just coming back myself and my friend picks up kasumi, mind you he never played paladins and he doesnt play many shooters, this man straight up goes 50 and 6. and there was no bots at this point. new player with booty aim can look like a Esport big boy pines, with this character.

A good idea for her primary would be that her auto aim does lesser damage like only 200 but if you aim at a target she does more damage to that target sort of like firing 2 shots one auto aim and the other targeted

That movement improvement idea... Yeah, would be cool and more strategic to keep people guessing their next more... if your body soul is going to your body or vice versa. (left click - pull body to current location / RMB - return to origin) Didn't Zhin also have this issue with his Billow, where you couldn't end the skill at your own discretion? I know they fixed it on Grohk's spirit walk.

idk why they felt the need to make her weapon fire so free (describing the part where she can look somewhere near the enemy and still hit the enemy), like it isn't even difficult to aim her primary fire directly towards the enemy and it wont miss since it automatically hits as long as its in the reticle unlike shooting champions with travelling time shots that can miss.

The range of her primary fire gets shortened when the enemy is above or below you, thats very noticiable and in some maps u cant even hit someone right in from of you, that should be fixed asap. The movement ability kills the momentum at the end when u change from third to first person, I think thats a bug and its annoying af

If I had to write what I think of Kasumi then it would take too much time, so I'll talk about her ultimate. Her ultimate says that it deals increased damage for each stack, this sounds like you are incentivized to manage your stacks to have really high DoT damage, but you don't really need to. The Ultimate will ALWAYS apply 5 stacks and will ALWAYS deal 1520 DMG no matter what. It removes the stack managing and rewards you with too much value for little effort (free 1520 dmg and 5 stacks for Savage Tear or Primary) if you ask me, I like the idea of the ultimate dealing increased damage for each stack, so... Remove the ability of the ultimate to always apply 5 stacks, this imo would make it less annoying to deal and not feel like a I Win Button and force the Kasumi to manage her stacks and not be rewarded with mediocre plays

Honestly all I really think needs to be changed is a small reduction for the lock-on cone and some more directional stuff when you're getting stabbed. Plus removing the increased attack speed from Empowered Curse and changing Essence Drain. Increased damage output talents/cards are not necessary for a damage champion. Not as much of a lock-on shrink as you suggested though, your crosshair looked like it was close enough to hit with regular hitscans and at that point what's the point of having a lock-on?

Playing against Kasumi is a game of staying out of her range and outsmarting her. And personally, I actually enjoy not needing to have great aim to do well on a character, stop acting like the need for good aim makes something automatically more fun

I think kasumi is a fine character regarding her atacks and abilities but the problem with her is the auto aim and the ultimate. Her auto aim needs to be reduced to the box area that you see around the enemy when you are able to hit them. The ultimate really needs a change, tweak, damage buff, literally anything better. Her ultimate is so weak to the point were its basically a normal ability except she says a bunch of japanese stuff when she uses it

I talked to your dad a bit about kasumi about an hour ago. Even if they tightened the auto aim to be harder for kasumi to hit her opponent it wouldn't make much of a difference. All people would have to do is swipe there cross hair back and forth over there opponent and It would work the same as it is now. Not only is putting the dot on the target part of the game, but also the timing of the shot. This would make it to where you would only need to memorize the timing of the shot, and swipe over your opponent at the correct moment while brainlessly holding left/right click to do dmg. it's like your crosshair's a lazer that does 200 dmg + stacks or savage tear which is 900 dmg + stacks... All that for just swiping over an opponent because you have a laser as your crosshair that the opponent can't dodge. To me they would have to reduce the cone size to the dot crosshair in order for it to be balanced.

But theres an easy fix for that, just make her actually miss an attack if she isnt aiming at anything, so you need to have at least one braincell to aim and to time the attack, instead of just holding down the button in the general direction of enemies

I doubt we will get a different keybind to change the use of an ability as it's not something we've seen before. I think a simpler fix would be to just change what happens when you recast B&S to have you teleport to your soul, and if you don't recast then you go back to your body. Sorta like Talus' teleport.

man that auto aim will get you killed if fighting a group of people like I would think a damage is supposed to do. An auto aim "nerf" would be welcomed and is needed it would make her sooo much more effective.

The only counter I've acknowledged for kasumi is Koga since his dash cleanses Kasumi's stacks, other than that, idk edit: i mean for the Flank class only

NOPE, only counter are off tanks with shields that has range like Khan, ruckus and ash 2nd talent. Koga does not counter her with his peepee damage and damage debuff

Kasumi news: kasumi can 1. Tear through zhin's counter. It still activates it but zhin would still be damaged by it 2. Kasumi primary and secondary does not go through andro's reversal 3. Bubble shield DOED NOT counter kasumi so even less counters. Gg

Gonna put this here first Edit: gonna watch it all first before dumping my opinions 1. Kasumi makes anyone that doesn't have shield not fun to play against. Easy 1v1 almost anyone. Could even 1v2 and vivian is a counter Ish to kasumi. The few counters to kami are off tanks with shields but then just get away from those off tanks and flank so basically kasumi has no counters but counters 80% of the roaster 2. The extra damage on savage tear card should stay as it is for now because there are better loadout for it but the damage after 5 stacks should be nerfed but lower the CD. Why? Because ppl get 5 stacks with the primary and tear combo that uses the loadout from Kreepers video. It still takes you 5 primary then 1 tear to kill with it without the combo BUT if you use the combo. Immediate MS buff, stack speed buff and damage debuff. The time to kill might be faster with combo too plus it's easier to dodge ppl with the primary and tear combo because of how small kasumi hit box is and of course, from the mini buffs she get with the 1st talent which is her best talent and the talent you run 90% of your game :D 3. The debuff might have to tone down a bit because ppl are usually buying heaven with kasumi and I wish her doll when triggered would apply a slow because the doll traps are close to useless. The slow would be a good mind game is kasumi and for the enemy. 4. Her ult gen from her primary needs a nerf. She regenerate her ult similarly to sati ult gen build and her ult is a hit or miss. It can suck because healers can easily heal all the damage away but the major issue about her ult is no indication which teammate has the ult on them. It should have a warning icon like bk stun or Skye ult 5. Yup, the idea for her F is good and Kreepers did mention it to the devs. 3rd talent is bugged. 6. Her 1st talent should be in her base kit and maybe nerf it to 4% but the major thing that should be lowered is her damage debuff then her 1st talent gives her either 2 disarm with lowered damage or lower the CD for disarm and lower the damage of it Love these type of videos. I noticed how quite a few times you used "pure auto-aim" in your video. It is NOT "pure auto-aim". It's cone hitbox that you still need to aim. Does it need changes? Yes. It is NOT "pure auto-aim" tho.

Or they just rework her primary all together into what I see alot of people wanting on her which us a chain whip that wraps around her arms. Imagine another vora or zhin primary but it's a chain whip, then you make her secondary a charge button to charge her chain shots to do more dmg and shoot further so then shes bascially like vora or zhin but with semi sniper like shots when you're charging up your shots but then fights like vora oe zhin up close. It would be the perfect way to make a champion like zhin or vora work as a dps I think and everyone loves how unique zhin and vora feel because of their primaries, whenever I bring a friend to the game they always gravitate towards those champs, give up on vora and then main zhin for awhile but imagine a dps version of them that uses a chain whip! I think that would be awesome.

the thing is you don'T play with crused doll card... betrayal 2 cursed doll 4 surrounded by fear 1 essence drain 5 and use your savage tear at start to ramp up you stack instantly to 3 then 1 attack and you are already at 5 stack... and your savage tear being at 8 sec CD and cursel doll at 15 CD it means you can reuse you savage curse for a finish if the target isn'T dead already and then have both savage tear and cursed doll available for the next target (after 16sec) the damage gain by an initial savage tear is more interesting then jsut sloly stacking up stack for then doing a finisher with it, well it depend of target... also as a 4th I just take sealed fate so since I reach stack so fast then every attack is healing me so can last longer and do more damage vs more tanky foes.

again that's part of the deal you cannot be advantaged at everything... she's bad vs shield and deployable champs that'S it... she's gonna own those wh ohave nothing of those in a 1v1... she's made to fight other champions with high mobility assassins like ... VII and Evie... she was made obviously in that intent to counter those... so no matter for them to move all around kasumi can still keep attacking them without missing.

The Kasumi doll should work like Kiriko telelport in OW2. Have the enemy get marked by the trap then teleport to the marked enemy to fear them and nearby teammates. That way you aren’t needlessly teleporting to a trap because an enemy flew by it.

I hate the movement ability... that clip was clean asf ill give you that... but that shit is literal garbage. Mid fight you decide you want to use your movement ability to you know... MOVE away from damage... but nah.. instead your soul just steps out your body while you watch it get fuckin smashed on

Unfinished Business is 100% working properly. Cauterize is no longer in the game. Anti-healing and Cauterize are not the same thing. they are programmed in the game completely different from each other So Unfinished Business is working base on the cauterize coding but it is no longer in the game and anti-healing still fully effects her. How to fix it is changing the last word on the talent to anti-healing and programming it to work with Anti- Healing code

I don't inherently see the auto-aim issue as... well... an issue. Right now, there exist sub-categories of Tank and Support characters. The idea of sub-categories for Damage and Flank characters isn't exactly outside the realm of possibility, and one of the obvious sub-categories for Damage characters could easily be counter-flank. As in, characters without the mobility and evasion to be straight up flanks, but who are really good at just countering flanks. Someone who can stand near/beside the main support in the back, and help protect them from flanks. The obvious characters to do this with already are those that have AoE effects, or just really large and fast projectiles, who don't have to worry so much about flanks dodging their shots. Even abilities like Kinessa's mines could be changed to just make them counter-flank abilities. Willow already has an ability that's explicitly targeted at negating support, why not have similar for flanks? It's not like counters don't already exist in the game, and frankly, flanks with high mobility and small hit boxes already feel like they're taking advantage of the game's mechanics to be better strictly against lower-skill players. After all, if a large chunk of a character's survivability is just "don't get hit" then how effective they are is literally just a factor of how good their opponent is at the game. Also, it makes Flanks that rely less on not being hit and who can just run away while tanking damage-Buck and Moji come to mind, as both have ways of surviving damage as they retreat-better, because they'll actually have something they specialize against. Personally, as someone who mains support champions, being someone who is bad at aiming has never really been a hinderance for me because a lot of supports have things that help with that. Grover and Seris have massive projectiles, Grohk really only needs to aim in their general direction, and Pip uses massive AoE attacks. Yet despite them taking 'skill' out of the game, by making it easier to hit targets with their main attack, no one really considers them broken. At least, not for that reason. Besides, as pointed out, the benefit of being good against flanks comes at a cost. She's less good against people who put out deployables and shields... which is pretty much just tanks and support, meaning the targets Damage would normally be attacking anyway. I.e., it's a type of damage that's good at going after flank, but less good at going after support and tanks. She also has an ability that lets her leave behind an obvious thing someone could stand next to, that if a flank gets close to... Summons her to their side, to help counter them... So, a counter-flank damage. Tah-Dah!

Listen there are many counters against Kasumi. For most common example is skye. If skye goes invisible kasumi can't hit her. So if you know how to play skye well then kasumi is easy killing. There are other champs who can counter her also like dredge, talus, shalin. This Kasumi champ is good for those who are new player and can't aim properly. Again my opinion is that it's a nice concept for this champ. So suck out the auto aim noobs...

Bruh. The loadout of kasumi from Kreepers video and the tear combo would like to disagree. The combo using the loadout from Kreepers video is lmb, rmb then 3 lmb that does 450 with faster attack speed, faster movement speed and fast damage debuff

I don'T see how it's an issue the autoaim.. it'S both an advantage and a disadvantage... example you were aiming at the other victor in the back but the auto aim targetted the nearest one, which in sense make that best way against kasumi is to team up and shield those near death and she couldn't traget them at all nor stack any stack since attacking random target just remove 3 stacks on the others... so she'S more like a flanker, in essence... it offer a different gameplay you like or you don't but it's a different gameplay that some players might prefere, in a sense the auto aim is a crutch and a weakness aswell, which require to be compensated by macroplay, kasumi has no microplay by herself she's all about macro play, placement/positionment and seeing the big picture. there isn't much micro management, like Ying is a complete micro management with no macroplay at all, well almost no beside managing your teleport.
