My Thoughts on NEW THORPE PARK Coaster...

Oh it's definitely going to be an Egyptian theme. The name "Project Exodus" is a big giveaway to me. In the Bible, the story of Exodus is about the Israelites escaping slavery, and it takes place in Egypt. My religious studies GCSE finally comes in handy. This wouldn't be the first time Thorpe has included a hint of the theme of a new attraction in it's project name either: Colossus was called "Project Odyssey" during planning and construction, after the ancient Greek poem, and the ride has a loose ancient Greek ruins theme.

The Egyptian theme also makes sense given the current codename "Exodus". I'm not religious but from what I know, the Book of Exodus is the chapter of the Bible in which the Israelites supposedly escaped slavery from the Ancient Egyptians. Just another cool little nod that supports this ancient Egyptain theme :D

This coaster off ride is not only going to look tall, but its going to look epic and cannot wait for supports, track and theming whatever it is all to go vertical. By the way, its not a copycat theme is it, oh Jumanji 2.0? I hope not? I think in my honest opinion it will be an IP, not an original themed ride which is why I suggested on another video it maybe be Indiana Jones themed? Especially with the gold, if not this? Have no idea what? But at the end of the day, just glad its going to have a theme around it instead of being a bare coaster with just structure only. Want something with this ride on scale of theming like Velocicoaster in Orlando Florida. But I guess will have to see. But cheers for sharing update, looking forward to hearing & seeing more on progress for the build of this epic new attraction for the UK. 😀👍

@@iliketrains3546 as of my latest hero ride, I have discovered that I'm not prone to roughness on rollercoasters, and due to that, I feel that the over the shoulder restraint is more comfortable. I have been on silver star, which is a rollercoaster with lap bars, and I do think that Lap bars are quite nice, but for rides like the Smiler, it would add more thrill depending on how loose the lap bar is Genuinely, I like to have tight lap bars, because it makes me feel like I'm not going to fall out the ride, even though I know it's not possible. I just am slightly scared if how the prospect of going through an inversion, while wearing a lap bar, due to me not having gone on a single rollercoaster, yet, that does that
