Have you tried shortening up your bales some? Make them about 38” and just add more tension to equal the same amount of hay. I learned how to use mine on rough tight fields but I wish I would have went with the one like yours. I want a bundler myself. Dream big. I’ve looked at them all and I want a used Barron. I like the acrusin bundler I just don’t like you need a low boy to haul it. Great vidja sir. Thanks for sharing. I need to put my 1840 and bundler in the field for a few videos but I just don’t have the time yet. I broker a good bit of hay it’s what I got to do to pay the ole bills.

There’s a few options for the accumulators here in Australia. Jadan Enterprises, 4-Fab, Muller fabrications. We have a Jadan. Was $20,000 Aussie Pesos for the accumulator and the grab together. We love it, completely reliable. It uses only about 12-15 litres of hydraulic flow per minute, we have a power-beyond port and return dump on our machine but most guys round here use one of the remotes and case drain. Could probably use an electric hydraulic pump if you wanted.

I wish they sold the jadans here I looked at the 4 years ago that’s what I wanted very good looking accumulators 👍🏻

Good evening. Could a person get a decent piece of steel tube slit it so the hay possibly not hang up on the accumulator? Far as the pickup on the 1840 possibly use a gathering wheel set for thick/wider than normal swaths? Weight,cost comes to mind as well as not breaking bending a new piece of equipment. Got people poking fun at me for looking into miniature Herefords. You'll have that. Look forward to seeing how you setup to better those 2 issues.

I might try slip plate graphite paint. Might give it just enough more slip for those back bales

Nicholas Somers 👍🏻 already did about two months ago it fixed everything!

The reason the moisture sensor is not working could be because on a inline baler the cut side of the hay is on the bottom so the sensors need to be mounted on the upper and lower tension rails not on the side of the bale chamber like a Deere or NH.

I have strongly considered an accumulator system like yours, but I don't think it will work for me. I work by myself, and usually fighting the rain- there are just not enough hours in the day to rake, bale, and then go back and pick up/haul home/unload the hay. I think the re-baling option is the best fit for me. I sell a large percentage of my hay over the winter, so running a re-baler isn't a big deal when I don't have much else to do anyway LOL Hard decision to make, though...
@BagwellFarms5 жыл бұрын
If it’s just you your probably right only downside to a rebaler is typically you have to hand stack everything unless you get creative!
@minenotyours90315 жыл бұрын
How many acres would you now Mac in a day? And what would make you stop? Like maybe weather obviously but the was wondering if you had a max number of acres you can bale in a day too
@BagwellFarms5 жыл бұрын
It depends on the field typically an how rough it is but I just cut all I can. In a day on our ground as rough as it is with one baler I can bale typically around 60 acres that’d be around 300 bales or more
@erniebigbie32115 жыл бұрын
Might try some ez slide graphite paint on the accumulator. Tractor supply has it.

We have run both Bundler systems.... The Bale Bandit is a very realiable machine...... Bought it used and used it 4 4 years in a stationary rebaling set up...... never bought any parts, only strapping..... Only problem is the bale length it is capable of banding.....We just changed over to a 1840/ Bale Baron.......We tried it in the field, but didn't like the looks of the bundles..... The bundles lose their neat appearance after multiple handlings...... By rebaling rounds the bundles are imediately loaded into a 53 ft trailer.....Plus.... with the Bandit a load was 540 bales, with the baron it is 756.....Once we figured out and adjusted the feed rate on the Inline,,,, 2 people can convert 40 4x5 rounds into 36 21 bale bundles in about2 1/2 hours......

Is it Arcusin you were thinking of? I've been looking at one. I look at the machines and I can't understand why they are so expensive. Its like £65,000 new,and I look at it and think it can't cost more thain £10,000 to build.
@BagwellFarms5 жыл бұрын
Yea so far it’s the simplest best designed one I’ve seen but there expensive like you said for no apparent reason!
@minenotyours90315 жыл бұрын
Have you ever thought of getting a front mower too and spending less time in the paddock?
@BagwellFarms5 жыл бұрын
Yea I like the idea only thing is the radiator would be full in no time here in the U.S we let our hay get more mature an seed out so I don’t know how well that’d work

79terrafirma yea there good looking machines but I’ve heard of nightmare stories with the band tying systems they have another one that’s a lot like the bale bandit is the arcusion it uses twine like a baron but is the same style machine as the bandit I’ve heard good things about them but I haven’t seen one in person yet
