I think you're pretty darn spot on here with your analysis of the lyrics. Alexander even said it himself in an interview I saw on Norwegian TV, that the song is about believing in yourself. Not matter what you do, if you're a musician or not. Fingers crossed he will do well on Saturday - even win it?! B-)
