Not sure if you're still monitoring this but I really liked your video here and narration. I have the Apex par kit but for some reason I appears to be way off in the calibration somewhere. If I place the sensor right up to one of the led lights it will only output about 350 and in the tank I get 0. I need to know if there is a point of calibration somewhere for this sensor readings. Thanks.

Dope! Just got a seneye today so I will checking par sometime soon. What kind of par do you aim for?

The seneye is cool because it measures LUX, PAR, and Kelvin if I remember right. I have the sensor placed halfway up in my tank so the spot gives me a good approximation of what the rest of the par will be. Right now I am getting about 240-250 in that spot at peak time. I have always been "scared" to turn up my lights but now I am experimenting with running higher PARs. I have been increasing 5% on my Radions every few weeks to see what I can get to. I also run T5's with my Radions. The key is to increase SLOWLY.

Tha Bizness Reef Tank Yup, LUX, PAR and Kelvin just not sure on how accurate it being at $200 price point. I was running 3 kessil a360wes and two 80 watt T5s on my 180 but now I have 3 XR15s and four 80 watt T5s. The idea is that the XR15s replaced the same spot as the kessils and i added two more T5s. Not sure if this is enough yet. Running the kessils, I had no issue towards the end (before my reboot) keeping acros higher up so we will find out if i need more XR15s

There is a thread on Reef2Reef comparing the major par meters. I think BRS did a vid too on that subject. Check it out! I picked the Neptune meter (which is really an apogee meter) because I liked the long term monitoring aspect (Plus I do love my Apex)

I have a question? Just viewed your video I have the same hybrid light fixture. T-5 ARE DIMMABLE presently I have them on off programed how do you get the dimmable part working with the apex. Tt

Yes. Had to open a service ticket and send them the dry side. I think it was like 50-75$. I only had to do the Mp40 on the far side.
