We have him (Rooney), we have to get behind him and the rest of the staff (of course) and hope things turn around at Home Park. I agree Harvey, would have liked to have a person appointed as Manager and not have the title of Head Coach, but that doesn't mean we can't now go forward and cement ourselves in the championship tier. 110% Wayne, and don't let the pundit position at the Euros spoil it (or anything else for that matter). Be at Home Park or be square. Show us you can do it and Gary Lineker and Alan Shearer will have you on their show lol. We shall be watching with expectations high. Bring it on. COYG's

Dewsnips dictatorship will end if this goes tits up. Then a manager can be appointed. Still, i hope Rooney does well and we aint sitting near the relegation zone come crimbo.

Anyone that doesn't like Rooney being appointed as manager need to understand that we are not in the position to moan. We are tipped to get relegated and no one believe he will do a good job. So what is at loss? Nothing.. might as well enjoy and take advantage of a high profile name. To all those that hate on him, Stop the slanderous behaviour against him as negativity doesn't help the cause.

Nice stuff Harvey, with regard to Whittaker at Derby..we're talking over 2 years ago now..Whits may have had a mare at that time, we won't know..he has been known to dip in and out of games..I think that the older MW gets, the more he'll respond to pressure. We all know what he's capable of. Maybe Rooney can get the very best out of him and Hardie as a forward player himself..we shall see. Look forward to your content next season mate..keep it Green

I still look at the videos from Birmingham city supporters on their first reaction to the news of Rooney managing Birmingham and then i see their reactions 15 league games later and many have physically aged,you can see it around the eyes,..i saw one or two with pieces of gray hair coming through,which is worrying when your 18 years old...so i see you now,looking healthy,happy and fit,....i will check back with you after waynes 15th league game in charge of Plymouth,...a touch of grey hair might suit you to be honest...😊

Rooney is back on Farley so i am happy 😂. First signing is solid so lets hope the club can entice some quality to move to Plymouth. Alot of players hate the travelling and prefer the midlands clubs its such a shame as we are obviously very good at bringing on loan talents.

Had a while to reflect on Rooney. I’ve decided that I trust the board, so I trust Rooney to be a good choice despite Foster. Brings a lot of excitement to the club but my worry is that he needs to connect with the fans, understand the culture and if he doesn’t move to Plymouth, he won’t be able to do that. If he connects with the fans, he’ll have a chance of staying up. We have fucking great fans who will back him if he takes the time to learn

Very good mate I think the fans as to be the factor under Foster it was poor until the Leicester game Hardie Need a forward to push him as he miss big chances last season that could of punish us I believe it was Andrew packson We all need to back Rooney in the good and bad

I think dewsnip actually signed Rooney at Everton rather than mates. Feel head coach right title if having a dof. Could bring in Longstaff if whittaker goes but have a mate who is Notts County fan. He says several top end championship clubs showed interest in January but player himself not really interested in moving. So can't see us getting him. Really want to see some results from set pieces and aiming for safety before last 3 games 16th or so good enough

That’s the problem being so far south and not having the funds to compete with high level clubs in our league. It would be a phenomenal signing but if he is happy at Notts county then you can’t argue him staying

There's one thing you can't deny Rooney and that's he's not in it for the money! He's committed 100% to the job.. I mean who the hell wants to be all the way down Plymouth? Lol.. give him a chance and by that I don't just mean one season.. needs at least 3 years to make it his

Harvey think Hallett said he's on the same pay as other Argyle coaches were, to be honest I don't think he needs the money 😂 and I truly believe this could work.

If hes not called wayne rooney, he doesnt even get an interview. He shouldn't have been given an interview based on anything else. And after all, hallett narrowed it down to 4 managers who applied and the others were highly experienced! Oh well, another rollercoaster. At least if it goes wrong, its toward the beginning to xmas of the season rather than march onwards, we have time to change things up. 3 year deal!!!!? Madness. Still paying fozzie off. Poor decision making on the football side from hallett, dewsnip and parko.
