Angie - as an advocate, I know you are spot on! I’ve dealt with so much of the harms trying to protect a person in withdrawal and experienced the system of incredible harms. You are an excellent resource. I thank you for getting the messages out there. I only hope those harmed by these drugs come out safe and can gather up all their talents and strengths and move on. Thank You!

Virtual trauma therapy beginning this week, and after 4 years of tapering Effexor down from 225 mg to current 10 mg, the symptoms of bpd, ptsd, anxiety and depression are lessening every day. My legitimate nightmare is nearly over within the medical profession. The rapid tapering of clonazapam nearly killed me. I still have nightmares about my gp who gaslighted me that withdrawal isnt possible despite exhibiting severe akathesia. The hospital treated me the best they could with dilaudid. Will never trust a doctor again like so many others.

Part 3! I didn’t know, but I’m so happy for this part 3! (PS I am not “going through it” nor did I in a dramatic or marked manner. I am learning all I can about this and several related interconnected issues)

yes Angie. Very few therapists understand the value of distraction in drug wd type situations. We have very different needs to what they might conventionally expect. I had a physiotherapist who was amazing for me. she listened to me and took interest in my taper induced aches and pains. she understood the role of soothing and being there for someone. she could tell i didnt need fixing, but that i was very tense, stressed and distressed. physical pain was one of my most difficult wd symptom and she was very careful not to work in a way that would backfire and cause a flare. i didnt want to explore the contents of my mind because i felt that it could not be trusted while i was in a wave. Though overall i still had access to my instincts and intuition. This is a very important conversation angie. Thanks for putting it out there! ps; i am over it now and dont have need to see her anymore. 5 most difficult years of my life. God Bless You Angie for your relentless efforts to reach out and support this very mistunderstood community of injured folk. xxx

Set up to see can’t therapist next week. May cancel or bring your letter to give her one more chance. I did leave more stressed and traumatized. She focused on one major stress which really is an ongoing trauma, living with an an autistic adult who needs and is now getting personal help by a therapist to cope, praise God! He has only had Skype with her since Covid. It’s not helping! Back to me, I need a real person but only if she will do the research on withdrawal! Thanks for free videos Angie. I may be booking with you soon or someone who can help me with withdrawal trauma on top of daily trauma.

I miss Therapy. I was in it for the first 1.5 years after cold turkey of all the meds. They won’t don’t want me back because others will see how the poisons injured me and their placebo effect won’t work on the other people getting drugged and numbing out. I watched so many people in there change to numbed out lifeless people. Now I’m waiting on a psychological evaluation from a forensic psychologist for divorce court, because no one believes me about medication injury they think I am just insane and made everything up. I don’t even want their diagnosis from that because it’s going to not be correct. This is such a waste of time I’m only doing it to try to get to see my kids. My ex is a piece of shit very abusive and is the reason why I got put on the medication in the first place, I pray to God, he doesn’t do it to my children

@@AngiePeacockMSW❤ you are amazing! Wish my mom could have had you as her coach. Nobody believed her “burning pain” and a myriad of other symptoms and sensitivities. No one had the understanding like you do. You are doing God’s work! 🙏

Hi. Great video Angie. Can you please make a video about when you are doing so much better, and starting to get back to normal life, & then you get hit with a day or a few days of crappity crap & it brings ya down. How do you keep your chin up when this happens? When you started doing better, how did you handle this if/when it happened to you Angie?

This video is coming in about a week! But it’s going to be with the “stepping back into life” video. Hang tight until then.
