Hello friends, here are my favourite three finds from 2020 and I can tell you that I really did enjoy finding them. Three finds and three items that I'd never found before.

You've turn up some cracking finds, Andy, but I have to agree that trumpet brooch stands head and shoulders above the rest. One of the finest examples I've seen and my envy knows no bounds!

Wow that brooch is in such amazing condition despite some damage. I found one (not as good as yours) last year and was equally ecstatic. Amazing bits of history. 👏

I read somewhere that Cesar made an earlier expedition to the Isles, but it wasn't till later that the Romans actually invaded. Maybe the coin was dropped from that early roam.
