My Three Sons Color Opening Transition with Pontiacs

The later color years of the TV series "My Three Sons" featured this little instrumental as the opening transition credits played. A beautiful blue 1966 Pontiac Bonneville convertible was seen during the 1969-71 years (Season 10 & 11), and was featured as Steve Douglas' wife Barbara's car. Here we see Ernie entering the car in a local shopping plaza parking lot. A 1970 Firebird can also be spotted in the lower right corner of the shot. During the final (1971-72) season they switched to Ford products...Steve had a Mercury Colony Park wagon, and Katie a Ford Mustang Grande, both at the same house as she and the triplets moved back in when Don Grady left the series...I mean, Robbie Douglas took on an engineering project in South America.
