When I feel sad about my tiny living situation because I can't afford a bigger/nicer place, I see these old videos of your's... Your happy nature helps me adjust my perspective. Your tiny flat is actually smaller than my current place and you never let it dampen your spirit. Attitude is everything. Love your journey from this apartment to your latest place with the fancy bath tub. Thanks for allowing us to be a part of your personal growth. Lots of love to you.

お久しぶりです。^ ^ Love your tiny kitchen. It reminds me of my college dorm. It wasn't a kitchen but more like a narrow hallway with a tiny stove. lol Looking forward to seeing more cooking videos! :)

お久しぶり!!!! omg i'm so embarrassed that you have seen this video! You are the cooking master and here I am making spaghetti ^^' Haha I can relate to that hallway room life :') btw just rewatched so many of your videos. With the tempura sakura tree my mouth fell open when the noodles flared out into the tree shape haha. More cooking videos to come! But your videos have inspired me to go and get a knife sharpener :')
@JunsKitchen8 жыл бұрын
+Tokidoki Traveller Haha thank you for rewatching my videos and please don't be embarrassed. I like your videos. :) I guess your knife is Sekimagoroku? It's a decent knife so if you sharpen it with stone, it can be very sharp. Easy sharpeners are cheap but it damages the blade so I recommend getting stone sharpeners if you buy one. Good luck! Btw, I'm uploading a new video soon. :)
@TokidokiTraveller8 жыл бұрын
ok good to know! I'll see if i can find a good stone instead of a cheap sharpener :) and that's so exciting!! I can't wait to watch it!

For anyone who had issues opening jars, use a cork-screw to drill a hole in the top breaking the seal. Then if you don't use the entire jar put the rest into a screw or pop container (or keep it in the jar with the hole on top if you're not bothered by that).

That meal looks soooo luscious! For the last year or so I've been cooking pasta in my rice cooker; I know! amazing! Going to add some of the fresh veggies to it. Wonder if they'll be soft enough if I put them in with the spaghetti and sauce. My rice cooker has a veggie steamer on top so...will try veggies in the pot and if they're not soft enough I'll steam them the next time.

+Tokidoki Traveller I will advice to boil water first then put in the pasta for about 12 minutes then empty the hot water & let it sit on the empty pot. Then cook/fry the rest of the ingredients to taste (tomato sauce, mushrooms, Bell peppers) etc. Then pour into the spaghetti. ;)

I especially love the ones where you cook and chat or go out to restaurants/hot spots with your friends or show off what snacks and treats you brought home. I think it's super interesting and helpful from the perspective of someone who wants to go to Japan and experience things beyond travel guides and "top 5"/tourist-y lists. So yeah, thank you! I really love that you seem so genuine out of all the youtubers I follow. It feels so fresh. And spaghetti tip: there is a spoon/fork technique for eating noodles.
