I’m a simple man Pat. I see a Rush video and I click on it. Couldn’t disagree with your picks. All absolutely fantastic tracks. I saw the band on the same tour as you in 2011 when they did the whole of Moving Pictures. What a show. Anyway great video. Keep up the good work! Really enjoyed this one! 👍🏻

My favorite Rush albums are clearly the ones from the progressive period up to and including Moving Pictures. I don't like when they later overloaded themselves with keyboards and synthesizers in the 80s. Cheers!

Working Man, By-Tor and the snow dog, Bastille Day, 2112, A Passage to Bangkok, Xanadu, Cygnus X-1, La Villa Stangiato, Jacob’s Ladder, YYZ. Keep up the tremendous work!

Lots of great choices here. I love that you included By-Tor. The first time I heard it I knew I would be a Rush fan for life. Not sure what I would remove from your list but have to include a few of my own personal favorites. The Trees, Red Sector A, Mission, Time Stand Still, Manhattan Project, Beneath Between & Behind, Red Barchetta, Dreamline. I think that at one time or another every one of those have been "My favorite"

I first saw Rush on the hemispheres tour at Manchester Apollo in April 1979. It is still my favourite album of theirs and I am pleased to see that you have included 2 of that albums tracks in your too 10👍

Great list from a great band Pat. Growing up in Ottawa and living across Southwestern Ontario I have had a chance to see RUSH many times - easily into double digits. One of my top 5 bands of all time. Great musicians all. My top of the list would be side 1 from 2112. Hemispheres was also one of my favorite LPs.

Another great episode. Your picks are spot on. So happy that you gave some love to the Analog Kid, Natural Science and The Camera Eye. I have seen this band five times live (first time was during the Signals tour). What a band. Well, here are my 10 favorite tracks in no particular order that you did not mention (this list will probably change 10 minutes after I post this). Entre Nous, A Farewell to Kings, The Weapon, New World Man, Roll the Bones, Scars, The Trees, Tom Sawyer, Far Cry and Seven Cities of Gold. One of these days I may post my favorite 10 Rush instrumentals.

Great picks here Pat and I would not be disagreeing with any of them. I was very late into Rush and had not heard anything of their stuff until I started to do this channel 3 years ago or so. If I had to pick a top 10 I'd go with 2112, Cygnus X-1 Book II - Hemispheres, Red Barcetta, Xanadu, The Trees, The Necromancer, La Villa Stangiato, The Camera Eye, Natural Science, Subdivisions. Loved the video Pat. I lost Rush after 2112 album and could not get into Farewell to Kings at all. My fault as they were pushing the boundaries and themselves and became much more progressive.They also required much more concentration from the listener. It will be very interesting to see if Lee and Lifeson can create new music without the genius lyricist and story teller Peart being there. Without question, Canada,s and probably America,s best prog rock trio

I was not a massive fan of AFWTK until later myself. Now I post the title track every election cycle (here in USA) with the lyrics attached. "The hypocrites are slandering the sacred halls of truth. Ancient nobles showering their bitterness on youth"
