I keep getting motivated everytime i hear kuja's melody. I keep imagining a bad ass villain. I kinda wish they made kuja more badass actually. The reason being that he should have been the final villain with that tune and more badass moves.

Kefka should top every list of the greatest video game villains of all time, and here are a few reasons why: -He doesn't have a shred of sanity in him. -He wipes out a nation with poison, unintentionally leaving only 2 survivors. -He is exceptionally cruel. -Unlike a lot of villains, he actually achieves one of his goals: tearing the world apart and becoming a god. -And, arguably the biggest reason, he wants to wipe out ALL of humanity so nothing/nobody remains, deeming life "meaningless".

yes, the arcana is the means by which all is revealed. ok, one thing is for sure though, if there is a top 10 last boss theme thing, persona 3's battle hymn for the soul(or the battle for everyone's souls, same song) is definitely #1 IMO of course :P

@DaRkLoRd1061 True, Ganon has had hismoments of glory. However he is way too overused villain in Zelda-series. And it's not like in the case of Bowser or Dr. Wily, where the plots don't really give that much room to improvise. Zeldas are epic tales with differing stories, so it would be easy to have different villains too. It's always refreshing to get a new villain every once in a while, like Veran, Onox and Vaati. Actually if I were to make the list again, Vaati would take Veran's place.

@ZeldaLinkGanonfan300 The difference between Mario and Zelda is that Mario-games don't usually have deep plots, like Zeldas do. In such games the villain isn't the biggest issue, since the characters aren't developed all that much. With Zelda-games you always get into this big adventure with lots of character developement and deep plo. It's a shame that the only villain they use is Ganon, when there's so much room for new ideas. It's like always facing Chaos in the end of every Final Fantasy.

Good choice, but I still think Wesker is more evil than Birkin. Birkin is the 'tragic' villian; a monster brought about by mad science and the evil of others. He's more like a Dr. Frankenstein meets Frankenstein monster. Still a great character though.

William Birkin and Albert Wesker should've been #1... But im not complaining! William deserves #1 for all of his hard work! ^_^

ah that's rare what you said about seph and kef but to be perfectly honest i kinda wish vergil made it higher on the list but again he isn't actually a villain per say his role in things is very arbitrary after all he is a power seeker and they ally with who offers more power but eh vergil is none the less a anti hero if i ever saw one. and wow look at this HUGE run on sentence lol.

@UFWD2000 To me they ruined Wesker by giving him super powers. He was pretty much perfect sneaky human villain in the first one and its remake, and also in zero, but after that he felt like mass produced super villain. William on the other hand is a classic mad scientist who falls victim to his own research that he dedicated his whole life to. Nemesis and Nicholai from RE3 were also pretty close to getting that spot.

@roxasmanable Well Final Mix never left Japan, and RE:CoM never released in Europe. And finding the original CoM for the GBA is like winning in a lottery around here. So yes I don't get to fight her. I know she's a boss in both, but she's one boss I won't be experiencing myself. Same with Marluxia.

Hey Tubeshark, they brought back Psycho Mantis after you kill Screaming Mantis. He was mainly a comic relief and Sony's own selfless bragging about the PS3. All he does is the same thing as he does in the first game except he fails. No you don't have to fight him he is just a ghost.

@ZeldaLinkGanonfan300 It's just my opinion, but Ganon is used too much for his own good. While playing Twilight Princess I always knew that Ganon would be there, even though they were trying so hard to make it surprising that Zant isn't the main villain. The series needs more villains, like Onox, Veran and Vaati. Ganon on the other hand needs a long vacation.

In retrospect I can't stand behind most of these choices. Maybe Larxene and Marluxia, and even they couldn't get this high rank if I were to make this list again. And in all honesty Kefka has become just as overrated as Sephiroth. I love them both, but I have no problem admitting that.

birkin interesting choice but i respectfully disagree a villain has a plan or an agenda birkin falls into the category of monster monsters just do they dont have a plan they just kill and breed but your last pick and most of them were good got me to raise an eye brow a couple of times but kefka is starting to get over rated STARTING i didnt say he is.
