My Top 15 Vanessa Voices (The Little Mermaid)

So, my second Top Video! Like I said, I'm not that good as a vidder, but I just do it because I love Disney and I love to listen to different versions of songs ^^
This time I chose the Vanessa Voices from The Little Mermaid, I love that movie and the song even if its very short.
This time I get you some explanations, why I chose which number ^^
15: Her voice is a little too deep and I'm glad she didn't voice Ariel, too. But there is something quiet evil about the way she sings it and I like that.
14: I know many people will disagree with me, but i prefer her as Vanessa over Ariel. I like that 'bitchy sound' her voice has here.
13: I don't know if its just her voice or the somehow the language (no offence, I mean it in a good way) but she fits Vanessa really well.
12: She sounds like a very spoiled, kinda wicked rich girl to me and I simply like that.
11: I like her evil laugh and her voice fits Vanessa well, I just don't like that it sounds a bit too harsh sometimes.
10: I love the language (even speak it a little) and I think Japanese dubbings are always one of the best, the only reason why she is not ranked higher is that I simply like other versions more.
9: I like her voice a lot and I think she gives Vanessa the perfect little 'Ursula' touch.
8: Its the version I grew up with and for that I will always love her.
7: I really lover her voice and even if she doesn't sound that evil to me, I still love it.
6: Icelandic dubs are always one of the best in ym opinion and she is such a gorgeous singer. Her voice is the perfect mix between 'evil Vanessa' and 'beautiful Ariel' in this version.
5: I really do love her voice an I like this version, I jus think singing an evil character doesn't fit Jodi that well.
4: I like her so much more as Vanessa than as Ariel. Maybe because here her mature voice fits. And I love her intonation and to me she fits Vanessa really well.
Top 3:
3: She sounds so evil! And so different from when she sings Ariel! I loe that version and I think as child she would actually scare me a bit.
2: She just sounds so bitchy, its amazing! I love the way she sings and I love that she sounds so different from all the other Vanessa's.
1: Yes, I am a Sissel Fan when it comes to TLM and I love her voice and her evil laugh and just the whole song.

B. Portuguese: It's okay. Dutch: Artificial Youthfulness Arabic: EVIL! Czech: She sounds like she's having fun in the booth. Greek 1998: Very siren like and evil Japanese: She sounds like Jodi Benson, what do you expect because Disney chooses close sound a likes. Castilian: Sexy and evil. German 1989: Not a fan of her voice on Ariel but it works for Vanessa. Very evil Finnish 1999: She's not bad, but I think Johanna Nurmimaa sounded more evil Icelandic: I love her! She sounds so evil and sexy. English: Original. Jodi Benson sounds great and sensual as Vanessa. European French 1989: She sounds great as Vanessa Latin American Spanish: She sounds amazing. Sexy and evil and still sounds young. European French 1999: A bit on the nasal side for my taste. Okay...I agree with #1. Sissel Kyrkjebø is the definitive Ariel and Vanessa.

Agree with Finnish 99, she sounds so evil, and yet seductive ! Agree with Icelandic, her "cold" voice fits the character, and she sings well Ok for English, I don't think it's her best, she sings normally, not so evil IMO Agree with French 89, her best I think because much more lively than as Ariel, she sounds evil and full of energy Agree with Latin Spanish, everyone would agree, she's totally transformed there "la sirenita se la mia" is just so frightening ! i think that the best one definitely is latin spanish version, the singing and the laughs make me feel the real evil presence, i belive that she was the best actress becacuse that´s the girl that sounds more maleficent, mean, and natural, and is very very importand to say that she was the only one in this goup that didn't have problems in to do a realistic evil laugh, so i think that was too unfair to put her in third place

If anyone is wondering why in the Brazilian version, Vanessa's voice is different than Ariel's, Marisa Leal did not fit Vanessa's role, while Gabriela was too young for that part at the time.

La version de Marie Galey est pour moi la meilleure version française. Sinon j'aime bien aussi la version latine et la version anglaise 😊 For me, the best French version is from Marie Galey. But I apreciate the Latin Spanish and English versions 😊.

Thanks a lot for this second place, I agree, Marie is excellent there, as much as she's as Ariel, she sounds bitchy, evil, seductive, just perfect ! Agree also with Sissel, she sounds good there, not the most evil, but what really singled her out of the others is the little laughes she made, that's so spooky and haunting ^^

Disagree with Brazilian, I don't find this version evil, or good singing. Agree with Dutch, she's good and sounds so crazy, less beautiful, but so crazy Ok for Arabic, she did good. Agree with Czech, so interesting in her weirdness Agree with Greek 99, she sounds machiavelic! I don't understand how so many other countries have other versions of English movies but America barely has any. I've never seen a real children's movie that was originally another language.
