Totally agree with you regarding the Slovak version - her voice is absolutely PERFECT and she definitely deserves the top spot, it's just a shame they're no laughs there. :(

Thanks for Portuguese in 4th place, I really think Anabela sounds amazing as Vanessa ! I agree with you about Isela, Nina, Svetlana, Claire and Jana. I think those are my favorites.

Love your ranking! I love your top 3, I must say my fav is Marie Galey (I can't help it.. haha), but I also love Sissel, Zuzana, Rula, Claire, isela and Jana :) I'm not interested in Vanessa's voices (though I'm interested in Ariel's voices xD) probably because of the song, which is great, but really short ^^

Thank you so much :) Yes I know this song is quite short but I love it because I absolutely love the idea that the villain sings with Ariel's voice. And as you see, it's not just my Ariel ranking that I turned into a Vanessa ranking. Infact I have here some favorites who are not part of my favorite Ariel's voices (Jana Marasova, Svetlana Svetikova or Maria Caneda) and some of my favorite Ariel's voices who are good but a bit forgettable and nothing special IMO in this song (Shlomit Aharon, Sebnem Ferah or Vesela Boneva). I'm glad yoy love these voices too and yes I love Marie here because what annoys me in her Ariel is the reason why I love her as Vanessa^^

Great ranking :D Thank for Canadian French, she’s a great Vanessa, but the thing that bothers me (a little) is that her laughs sound a bit flat. I agree with rest of this ranking. I agree with Claire, she sounds like a femme fatale :D I think Isela would be my first, and once again, Zuzana steals the show x)

Oh, didn't expect Zuzana to be first, I am glad you like her. I agree with your most of your choices, like Svetlana, Sissel, Nina, Rula, e.t.c. Anabela isn't my favorite Eu. Portuguese voice, although I like her a lot as Ariel/Vanesa and Mulan, but I am not so interested in her other roles.

Anastasia Pat Of course Zuzana IS Ariel/Vanessa, she's by far the best casting ever for this character IMO so I had to put her this high ;) I love Anabela so much in all her roles xD

Thanks for #8 and #5! I have a tiny bit preference of Claire Guyot here over Marie as Vanessa because I really like Claire's energy and roughness. She definitely sounds like a FEMME FATALE here! While I also like Marie as Vanessa because she sounds bitchy and spoiled, she would have been much better if she had the energy that Claire has! I don't really like #4 much as Vanessa. I think Claire is definitely better than her. For #3, I like the first part but for the second part, I think she exaggerates her evil emotions so it kinda comes off as forced. I like #2, it's so icy. Grrrr! I like your #1 and it sucks there are no laughs! What do you think of Anna Rossi's Vanessa? I actually like it and I am kinda surprised it is not here! :)

You're welcome :) Me too I prefer Claire I think because 1st she's my childhood and also because I know that maybe the "cute" voice of Marie was a better fit for Ariel but for Vanessa I think that Claire's mature voice is more appropriate. And as I said, I don't really hear the Ursula touch with Marie but I hear it with Claire. But I still really like Marie in this song, even if there's the fact that I also hear her Vanessa attitude on her Ariel disturbs me a bit^^ Yes Isela can be a bit forced but yet she's so addictive IMO. I like Anna Rossi as Ariel and Cinderella, and her Vanessa but something distubs a bit in Vanessa idk why^^

Angelica Ah ok but if You're Italian you should see my Italian ranking and you will see that I love the Italian dubbings and Simona Patitucci so much they're some of the best :) And also Simona is included in my top 20 of Ariel's voices, but I would in my character rankings in general, Italian voices have good places, just Belle and Pocahontas who are not really my taste^^ And also

Angelica I like her, she's a bit too theatrical at times like her Ariel but she's still convincing. I think she would be in the middle-good (around 20 I think) if I had made a complete ranking :)
