Great list, Pat. Stellar list; all essential, imo. Wishbone Ash is a pleasant surprise. It's always great to discover down to earth artists who will chat or even have a pint with fans. Very cool. Love TDream - certainly takes you on a journey. Transportive music is therapeutic. Zappa was indeed a genius. In my top 5. Cheers, Jeff

Great selections and for me as time passes, I keep coming back to Deep Purple and Rainbow but it is mainly Blackmore …first heard Purple in 1969 their third album…went out and got the two previous and then every release as they came out …plus the earlier material by Blackmore and Lord…but what is it about Blackmore after all these years and much of the Blackmore’s Night material is amazing …I finally realized it is his sense of composition and melody - Take care

Good top 20 list. Led Zeppelin was a good group and a top 20 for sure but wouldn’t be in my top 5 either. Zappa, I have on a bootleg 8 track. It is catchy. He and Tangerine Dream warrant a deeper listening
