I will 2nd the Spread Eagle recommendation - when their debut dropped I really thought they were gonna be the next big thing in this genre but it didn't happen for several reasons IMO. One factor which may not even make sense is how GOOD the debut LP is - I think they set the bar way too high for themselves to be able to put together a follow up that could come anywhere close to what that was & YES it's that good! You definitely want to find that album & give it a listen - I'd be willing to wager it may replace one of the ten on your list. Check it out!

Some good choices there especially Dokken, Ratt and Cinderella. The latter being the best debut of the era and still sounds great today. A killer mix of Aerosmith and AC/DC that they never bettered in my opinion. Once Around The Ride was the first song of their opening slot at Donington '87 in the pissing rain. Seems like yesterday.🤘

I think that White Lion's Big Game, Q5's Steal the Light, Quiet Riot's Metal Health, and Whitesnake's 1987 is much better than most of these. Also, Def Leppard had some bangers in this period.
