Rosè's voice actually made me notice Blackpink and eventually kpop. Her voice reminded me of Halsey and she is my favorite western singer. I can totally see why she was chosen by YG. Her vocals are something you dont really come across that often and you feel so emotional after listening to her. Rosé needs to be appreciated as a vocal more. In Blackpink's documentary, Rosé showed how her respect for music is the greatest, she just doesn't wanna be another girl who sings, that's the last thing she wants to be. Rather than perfecting every note and technique, she sings with her entire soul, expresses the emotions best. She said "Hope Not" was a hard song. Not because it was hard to sing BUT the fact that she needed to feel every word of the song and express it that way every time she performs. Teddy said when it comes to music Rosé has a different kind of set-up, she has her own works but she's insecure to show it. Let's not let her feel that way. She might be trying to perfect the technique like other vocals, change her genre to match the hype but NO, let's not make her do that. Let's appreciate her, let her show whatever she wants, whenever she wants. She was under the pressure before but it's OK now. A few days ago she teared up when a fan said we're all patiently waiting for her solo, no pressure and that we're sorry for not understanding it before. To Rosé, music is life, her happy pill. She said she's like a baby trying to speak up in music. She'll keep trying. And tbh, even before the documentary, I knew it. Rosé gives off that vibe, her respect and love for music is clear.

I think mostly vocalist of 4th gen are underrated because all the attention goes to dancers or rappers as 4th gen mostly focuses on dancing then rapping and the least on vocals . The vocals are weak too (except G IDLE , Aespa , Loona I'm talking about overall
