I absolutely love your videos! I was fortunately blessed by the algorithm when I was recommended your psp video and I've taken a liking to your channel ever since. I really enjoy these shorter videos. It's really refreshing to see these compared to all 40 minute to hour long videos I'm recommended daily. Your videos are also fun to watch whenever I have a little break. You're quickly becoming one of my favorite channels to watch and I simply can't wait for more! Also expect some fanart from me whenever I have time to draw. ;)

Gameboy colour, advanced and SP special models are an absolute minefield nowadays unfortunately. Reproduction shells and even reproduction packaging are now extremely accessible. While that shouldn't be a big issue in and of itself, it makes finding a genuine original a lot harder compared to special edition 2/3/DS/PSP/Vita and home consoles for which aftermarket shells are not readily available. The SP reproductions are absolutely rampant because both shells and reproduction packaging are easy to get due to the fairly ordinary cardboard the SP came in. Pikachu, Groudon, Kyogre, SpongeBob and SFC are commonly ripped off - which again would be fine if you knew you were buying a copy, but means it's hard to find genuine originals, especially when you can't inspect in person. Gameboy colour and advance reproduction packaging does exist but is harder to do due to the thicker cardboard with the glossy printing, but reproduction shells and screen lenses of the Pokemon special editions have been getting around for a few years now and are good enough that it's hard to tell without an original and a repro in front of you. I've also seen reproduction shells for the special colourway Gameboy advance models. I'm not aware of repros of the hello kitty stuff though so that's a plus, but if there is a market for it they'll come for sure. I've not seen reproduction special edition shells or packaging for Dreamcast or PS2 though, so that should help! The pink PS2 is particularly time consuming to reproduce as you need to carefully mask and paint the controller ports or injection mould and pin copies, as well as produce the textured pink aftermarket shell. Buying the pink PS2 and hello kitty Dreamcast full sets would significantly reduce the likelihood of getting a reproduction though as the effort to reproduce the peripherals would be very significant. Reproduction boxes do exist for PS2 and Dreamcast standard editions though and I often see them in full sets for sale.

Ex semi-professional photographer here and huge gear geek, I know that some stuff are meant to be bought more as collectibles and less for their utility, but the samsung mv900f is really just an overpriced compact camera. The value of the compact cameras is their older sensors and their low quality. The older CCD sensors because they have more vivid colours (much closer to actual negative films) at the cost of speed and image quality on higher iso. Because of that the images a lot of the times felt different and had a "vibe". Due to the hype and the lack of knowledge of people who like photography many compact cameras that do not really have anything special but are from known brands have skyrocketed. The only reason I mention this is because you mentioned that part of the reason you wanted it is the vibes of the images and it might be helpful.

These are all really cute! The TOS gamecube you showed at the beginning and the AC 2DS are both my top two dream consoles, but everything else you shared is really cute too! I never knew about the Sakura GB until your video, and the white one is so nice, but it's also pretty neat how the aging yellow ones match the colour scheme of CCS a lot! Thanks for sharing and good luck!

Don't see what people are hating on this video and unsubscribing. I thought it was an adorable and cool idea for a video talking about rare editions of retro tech in rare colorways that you can't find anywhere in America aside from being made in different countries. Solid video. Always love Sonic Unleashed music in the background. Always gives off a cozy vibe.

This is a respectable list of holy grails, since it all belongs in museums(or a display case at least, lol). There are so many console variations out there, it boggles my mind, especially for Nintendo systems. I've only got one thing on my list that I would consider a "holy grail," and that's the N3DSXL SNES edition(alternatively the Super Famicom edition, they're both really nice). I grew up playing a lot of SNES, my family had retro consoles before they were cool, and the SNES is still my favorite. I'm also a huge fan of the 3DS line, so, it's basically the perfect collector's item for me. Not cheap though, usually about double what I paid for my regular N3DSXL.

The clear technology aesthetic is pure nostalgia I remember back in the day when I was in elementary school, the computer lab was filled with those big transparent Mac computers My cousin also had a transparent purple N64 that we used to play Smash Bros and Mario Kart when I visited my aunt's house I used to have a purple GBA when I was younger, but it's now forever lost... Recently, like around 2-3 years ago, I bought myself a transparent green N64, and then some games I did play during my childhood like Smash Bros, Mario 64, Banjo-Kazooie, and a few others just so I can re-live my childhood... Back then, it was just simpler times... I wish you luck on getting that pink Hello Kitty Dreamcast, it looks pretty rad

Over the years I've collected a lot of retro consoles, usually ones listed as "broken", "as-is", "junk" and then go about fixing them up. This feeds into my electrical engineering hobby so it's something that can feed double dopamine for me lol. I think my one holy grail is my Pikachu Pichu Gold/Silver Gameboy Color, I wanted that Gameboy so much as a kid and now I own multiples of it 😅 For fully boxed Japanese consoles I recommend buying through a proxy service like Buyee or Sendico! I personally have used Buyee for years now and you can sometimes snag some really good deals on Mercari Japan! I got a fully boxed model 1 Sega Mega Drive and Sega CD with some games for about $120 shipped! Sure, it takes a little while to get things to the proxy warehouse and then over here in North America but it's a great option that can help avoid the high ebay prices!

I really enjoy your Videos and share the love for old electronics. My absolute Holy Grails would be the IBM ThinkPad 701 it is an super cool Laptop, because it´s Keyboard "folds" outwards when you open it. The Idea was that you could have an super small Laptop with an full sized Keyboard. Sadly the broken ones cost around 400-500 bucks (not even considering the working ones for upwards of a 1300 bucks.) 2. The crisis core PSP console is another one i would love to own, because the PSP has a special place in my heart and i love Final Fantasy. 3. I am super nostalgic for the 3ds lineup and absolutly adore the Majora's Mask Edition for the 3ds XL. 4. Pretty much all of the Japan exclusive special editions of the Ps Vita. (The most underrated gaming console ever in my opinion) One of my favorite things i already own is the Zelda Edition of the Gameboy Advance SP with an copy of minish cap, it might not be crazy rare but i just really love the console and the game. Honestly there is an never ending list to be typed out here. I also love Digicams and have been using my Casio Exilim-Z800 every time i want to make photos while traveling. It came out in 2010 so it might not really fit in the retro theme but i love it and want to get my hands on a bunch of other Cams from that time period.

Normally I lean more to the "cyber-blue" aesthetic, but I love your simple passion for cute stuff. Plus, you know some very interesting tech (that Samsung camera was very intriguing), so it'll be fun to see your journey and learn new stuff. As for my Holy Grails, they're simple, yet I'm broke, so they feel out of reach: 3) A Star Wars Xbox 360, just for kicks and giggles 2) A solid CRT, so that my retro consoles look better (my LCD TV has an "Over Scan" mode that actually is somewhat tolerable compared to other displays, but a CRT would be better 1) A Vita to hack. It's the only handheld I really want that I don't have. I can emulate a PSP. Vita3K is slow going (though those devs are awesome), and the form factor of the Vita would be a perfect fit for certain situations that my Deck.

While pink isn’t really my color of choice, I wholeheartedly agree with wanting to own a PS2. I’ve actually got a small box full of old PS2 games sitting in my room right now; Just haven’t been able to play them because at some point, I lost my PS2 (along with components) in the shuffle of moving stuff around the house. (If I could buy a good-condition PS2 for cheap, that’d be awesome. But as is…I may have to sell my games and save the cash for more important stuff.) …In any case, this was a fun video. Looking forward to seeing more retro/old tech-themed stuff from you in the future. ^^

Amazing video! I'm so happy that my algorithm recommended me your videos, because they're super cool and enjoyable. And also I think the main reason for why are all pink consoles and all pink colored tech more expensive is, because they were made in smaller volumes, mainly because not that many people would buy them (or at least not as much if it would be black or blue etc.) and so they're rarer and more expensive.

These are quite some amazing holy grails especially the hello kitty dreamcast. And if i can comment on the dreamcast, for sega's last console before becoming third party. they went out with quite a bang with stuff like the definitive version of rayman 2, being a good way for pc games to get ported to a console, and the sonic adventure games. Especially the first one since as someone who is playing sa1 with the dreamcast visuals has absolutely stunning environments which somehow got lost in porting for SADX. Been on my wishlist for over 10 years. Used to be around $200-400 but I’m sure it’s a lot higher now.

I noticed you like pink and cute things. I (a light blue enjoyer that don't mind if something is cute or not) think this is cool.

I am slowly collecting and/or modding stuff I couldn't have as a kid, or young adult. Just got a white PS2. Gonna get a Ceramic White PS3 next.
