My Top 5 Factions for The New Edition | Age of Sigmar

Its that time for a Tier lists but not until we get the full faction packs, so instead, here are my Top 5 faction picks and some others. Based on my own opinion.

Looks like we've got a lot in common. Slaves and Lumineth are my top 2, and your honorable mentions, tseentch and stormcast are 4 and 5 for me.

I've some Nighthaunt, (loads but lacking knowledge of the army) Iron Jawz, probably my favourite to play because dumb fun. But I think I'll be taking my Slaves to Darkness out this ed. Funky colour scheme too this time round, Halloween, so orange, purple, green and black

Ah, an I love there armies tier list... I can do that, me thinks.... 1. Flesh Eater Courts 2. Sylvaneth With these 2 I cover my theme for life & death.... 3. Osiarch Bonereapers (love the models, though they be needing archers) 4. Krullboyz (swamporcs...) 5. Nighthaunt (they are cool & cold, wait untill they are revamped in clearcast plastique) Things I like less: 1. Cities of Sigmar (I'm team Nagash) 2. The removal of some forgeworld mosters with no plastic kith to replace it, like the Merwyrm.

as a Cities player i agree, they arent looking great so far but im hoping once i see the full faction pack that they will look better. Deep dives coming for some of the factions

i was inpressed with the cav and the buffs you cab give them, i think a full cav army is going to be the way to play NH

Thanks for the information, man. I was with you until the Fyreslayers. I don't understand and would like to hear more about why you think they earned the fifth spot on your list. I am asking because I do not see it and would like to know what I might be missing. I realize that this is all just your opinion and I appreciate you talking about this, many people I talk to say the same thing when I say anything negative about any of the new factions "You have not seen everything yet and should not comment on anything". I say "Bah!" to that, I do not need to see everything to comment on whether I think one unit that has multiple crit abilities is better than a unit that has none, for example. Anyway thank you for your postings. I will Subscribe today.

they look fun, the Rune system looks great and the mega version was removed and put onto the Runemaster, which is nice, as this means that model has a real purpose in the army, they are also going to hit like a truck. Ive always had a soft sport for the faction, they are after all an army of AoS Slayers, why would you not love a bunch of naked angry dwarfs and dragon monsters running around lol but i think out of them and my 2 notible picks, i was drawn more to the slayers than the other two. Once the faction focus are out i could do a full tier list if you like. Thanks for the sub also.

First, thank you for stating that doing tiers list is absolutely useless right now. Second, damn I was hoping to find some clarity about the army I’m gonna paint and play since I’m going to LVO next year, unfortunately your top picks are almost the same as mine : “Khorne, Slaves, Tzeentch and SCE. Third, my raspberries are all the death factions, all of these fractions seemed to me like an headache every time I would play them. They have so much token, so much stuff that you have to remember, I found them to be quite unpleasant to read and therefore unpleasant to play. Thanks for the video.

best advice i can give, is pick the top factions you like the look of, then once you have them, pick the faction out of them that you like the models for, then go with that faction. Or dont worry about the power of the faction and go with what you like and want to collect. cheers for the comment
