I really like the Klein-curve wire stripper series, particularly the 11057 model that does 20-30 AWG wire. I also picked up a 1019 model that does 10-26AWG, plus crimping, screw-cutting, and IDC connector squishing. I wish it went all the way to 30 as well, but it does most everything I need it to so that's the one I usually carry around with me.

I really like the oversized diagonal cutters. The blades are angled enough where you can lever with them to pull staples and they absolutely blast through MC or other larger wires. The ratcheting 15-in-1 and the impacted rated 11 in one have a permanent spot in my pouch at this point. Considering trying the ratcheting impact rated screwdriver they just came out with but the 11-in-1 I usually use as a square for conduit fittings and then having the ability to use the nut drivers in a pinch and tossing them in an impact when needed.

I have a pair of bunged up Klein strippers just like yours, and I further damaged them by trying to rotate something that didn't want to rotate. So now they're in pretty poor shape. I went looking for something a little more "lineman proof" and found the "heavy duty" Klein K12055 strippers. These are at least three times the tool compared to the pliers you bunged up, the tip is wide and useful, and they sport a nice curved handle. They're my go-to for any small/household wiring projects.

Any hand tools from Klein are tops like 1009 long nose wire strippers the 215-9crtp hybrid pliers traditional linesman pliers and all purpose pliers with crimpers the same long nose pliers you showed and I am a fan of multipliers and ratcheting screwdrivers

Multi bit screwdriver, currently the 11 in 1, with a couple swapped bits ( i need a schrader core tool and #3 Phillips). I've carried them since the 6 in 1. Their clip on baseball cap headlight. My daily carry is their 9 pocket tool pouch.

Yeah I think Klein really missed an opportunity with that ratcheting screwdriver. For me, the longevity is limited because it takes their proprietary bits. IMO they would have done better to make it adjustable length WITH a ratchet BUT have it accept standard 1/4 bits. IMO that would be the one ratcheting screwdriver to rule them all. I have that one but I'll grab my Wera cuz even if it's a bit longer, I can use any bits I have and it's magnet is stronger than the Klein. One of my favorite Klein tools is their work gloves. I picked up some leather work gloves this year and they're amazing. They fit perfectly, feel great and I don't even think about them while working. They just disappear and let me work. Also I ride motorcycles and they're outstanding motorcycle gloves also. My 2nd favorite is their 14-in-1 precision screwdriver. In that case, I don't mind their proprietary bits because that one tool let me get rid of all the precision screwdriver sets I had lying around. It's got the spinner head on it that makes it really great when needed.

use a ceramic sharpening stone ,when i get grooves in the cutting pliers. ,i brush the cutting edge with a triangle sharpening stone. just a thought. have a good day.

Klein is definately the choice for electrical work. I have been an electrician for 30 years. I just don't care for the journeyman grips. They get stuck trying to put them in my pocket. I do want those big dikes to add to my collection. Do those tools ever get used? They look brand new !😂my Klein 10 in 1 is the most used tool in my pouch the 11 in 1 sucks. I have yet to pickup on the hybrid pliers too.

@@iranhernandez6659 Wera, Wiha, Knipex, PB Swiss, Snap on, Milwaukee are all better, I dont like the coloring, I think the x in 1 screwdrivers are a terrible design and a simple bit holder is way more useful.
