I would recommend you avoid the ninja walk if you do not want to induce lower back and knee injuries. By wearing soft shoes with good cushioning and using a heal-toe walk with a straight back and with the gimbal slightly tilted forward you will achieve better results that can be sustained for much longer periods without fatigue.

By far thee best gimbal movements video! Although I am a veteran tv cameraman, I am a novice real estate photographer and videographer currently using a Zhiyun Weebil S gimbal, Canon R50 and Nisi 9mm f/2.8 lens. Thank you for sharing these excellent pointers, and your technique. Incidentally, I'm from NJ, but now living in Virginia with my wife and sons.

Thanks for doing this video Mike. It's just what I need. Saves me running through your other ones and noting down the shot types you use. 👍🏻 I like the lens tip, although I use a Laowa 12mm Zero Distortion a lot, as over here in the UK our houses (as a general rule) tend to a lot smaller, and the 12mm "opens it up" a bit more than my 16-35mm. Cheers! I look forward to the next one. BTW, are you going to be doing a vid on the new masking process in Lightroom (just updated yesterday/today)??

Is there anything you use to get both interior lighting good and be able to see out the window? Or is it just cause you have a higher end camera? My poor Sony a6600 has the videos white as the heavens when I expose for the interior.
@InsideRealEstatePhotography3 жыл бұрын
A full frame sensor will have better dynamic range but it’s not a drastic difference. I rely on the available light that’s there and don’t do anything in addition. Sometimes the windows are better than others. Just depends on the house and how well lit it is and how much natural light is coming in.

I tried some of those moves the footage didn't come no where near as steady as shown, even the 360 shots, my footsteps and hand movement was evident !...😢

Also, are you slowing the footage down or playing it at regular speed. When you slow it down it Improves the smoothness a great deal.
@dronetheworld4k672 ай бұрын
@InsideRealEstatePhotography it was played at normal speed I think 30 fps, how do I slow them down since videos for real estate aren't supposed to be slow mo I found it extremely hard so I quit ill just stick to photography and drone for now I guess...

I find just using the joystick for pan doesn't give the best results, I only find joystick useful for up and down tilt
