If there is a second 12,500 round, only then Daniel will be able to learn from that, but a small sample size. But you will also learn a little how he plays and already up 2 million by that point haha.

"It's a bigger mistake to have bad frequencies than the wrong hands". I'm interested. That seems counterintuitive to me because if your hand ranges are accurate, the frequency will be accurate in the long run. I'd like doug to expand some on the wisdom there
@Cowtymsmiesznego
@Cowtymsmiesznego 3 жыл бұрын
Conversely, if your frequencies are bad then you'll be using some wrong hands in some spots. Obviously if your ranges are on point everywhere then you're good. But it's easier to learn frequencies than full ranges. And Doug is saying that it's better to get the frequency right (and use some wrong hands in some spots) than to learn only a part of the range perfectly (but have off frequencies overall).

Hand #2 ...inside the mind of Kid Poker:1) preflop raise makes it look like a broadway pair in my hand. 2) bigger flop raise, because I have the King if you don't, and I'm not afraid of it. 3) big turn raise because you might have a King because you called, but I moved fast because I have the Ace, and you don't. 4) all-in on the river because you might have a King and an Ace, but I flopped a flush draw with an Ace of hearts, and just made it on the river, even if you have an Ace King, and if you think I have nothing with your QJ, I hit a pair of 4s to show you down.
