Technology affecting our mental clarity- so true. Internet surfing and alcohol both dull the mind. At least from my own observations. In moderation, it's okay to unwind in that sense. But these things are too often abused. I think before smartphones it was TV. I, for one, had to really start being conscious of my time online and regulating it.

I just got your book and I am SO excited to start diving into your work. After skimming through the book, it seems like you cover and tie together so many things that I've explored in my own life over the past 10 years - a journey which has bought me to herbs and a deep calling to work with them. Just reading the first chapter of you book has lit an absolute fire inside me 😂😍🥰 I have so much to learn from you! thank you for sharing your passion and wisdom!! 🙏

I love this video. My favorite video your channel has produced. I smoke Calamus every weekend and it has taken my mind to new states of consciousness. Sometimes when I am in an agitated state the Calamus will focus my ability to project energy. If I knew how to make incense I would make a million Calamus incense sticks. I completely forgot about combining Calamus with Gotu Kola. However I have combined Bacopa with Gotu Kola which got me an A on my final.

Your teaching helps build a solid foundation and connection to the plants. Thank you for taking the time to explain.

Sheri Lavadour Feb 1, 11:53 AM PST Hello, I have a question for you.....can you tell me the astrological ruler for Calamus root and Bacopa. I watched your video on 5 herbs for mind clearing and I am developing an Herb by eye formula for myself to make spagyrically but I can not find them in any of my current sources Culpepper, Hauck, etc....)? My husband I are very new to alchemy having taken all of Robert's classes last year. We are taking the 7 basics (for about 30 weeks now). We came across your videos and were so happy because you were answering questions we were having difficulty finding answers to. I can not tell you (because you ate already aware, it is why you are creating these monographs) how many tinctures I made incorrectly due to conflicting sources. We would love to meet you sometime. We live near Portland. Thank you for your time. Solve et Coagula, Sheri

I choose the plants with the pendulum and it work very well most of the time. That is how I discover some other uses for the plants and understand what is really going on with my client. The explanations you give are so clear and inspiring. Thank you so much.

I like tinctures because of the convenience and how concentrated it is. If you enjoy the tea then do that. its okay to switch off. I have read from my grandmothers herbal books that you can actually cook with it as well. (that is the actual corms or rhizomes is the part you use) although the leaves are okay to eat as well. really any way you take it is good. try growing it! thrives in a shady area and loves lots of water.
