Great beginner snowboard for local snow falls in Missouri, not sure this would be for any major “mountain” snowboarding but he had fun on our hills. My 11yo had a great time with this during our last snowfall!

these are some of my favs for sure dude! I also love doing tripods into or out of some of these butters. Another really fun one you can change up is nollie into tailpress or nose press and swivel around in ethier direction and make up rad little butter combos.

Man I love butter tricks. It's why I went for the funslinger mostly. I wanted to work on butters. I can tail press and backside and front side spin on my tail. Nose presses feel super wobbly and not under control. Not sure why. I do them all the time stopped on flat ground. Really want to up the butter game though.

Hey TJ, respect to you for helping people learn new tricks mate! In the interest of education, technically the term 'Cab' should only be used to describe switch frontside spins off the nose 😉

Hey TJ great video. Also, I have a question about buying the Ride Twinpig. I’m 5’7, 125 pounds and I’m looking to buy it but I’m not sure whether I should get the 148 size or the 142. You mentioned in that video that sizing down is a good idea with that board, so what size would you recommend for my height and weight?
@notsocooldude77205 жыл бұрын
General Info Thanks for the help man. If I buy it I’ll definitely get the 142 then. Do you know much about the durability of the top sheet? I read on a forum post that people were having issues with the topsheet chipping/peeling really easily. It’s kinda putting me off from buying it so if you know anything about that please lmk

Sweet butters! Any tips on how to tail press better without leaning to either the heel or toe side? Finding presses really difficult on my Arbor Iguchi. Maybe too stiff?
@steveokay88105 жыл бұрын
I have this exact same problem. I can press and (n)ollie fine when standing still, but always lean to one side or the other when I'm moving. Would love to know how to fix this.
@taquito26065 жыл бұрын
Steve Okay Most of the time, straying sideways happens because the press isn’t being fully locked into. Focus on holding your foot down harder for the press and really leaning back/forward. Leaning enough will really help get more edge control and lift on either foot-you need to actually pull your foot up to get that press on the other side. Hope this helps!
@steveokay88105 жыл бұрын
@@taquito2606 Cool. I will try that the next time I'm out. I've been leaning back hard, but lifting my front foot isn't something I've paid a whole lot of attention to.

Hey TJ, I've been riding the Arbor Formula (155cm) for two years now, having a lot of fun on groomers and entry level park stuff, but I'me really entering intermediate level riding now so I was looking at the Arbor Westmark as I've heard great things from you and the guys. They have it on sale in my local store for the 17/18 model but only in a 153. I'm actually about 180cm but I always found playing around on the 155 Formula to be super fun. Do you think going down to 153 is a bit too low or for that board will it be ok?
