Great video. Personally, I think that a better cycling base in Switzerland is Thun or Interlaken. They give you more varied access to big climbs towards the high alps, but also some absolutely incredible roads in the Bernese Oberland (like above Thunersee and in the Gantrisch), but also acess to places like the Jura, Emmental and Gruyere, which also have unbelieveable roads. Plus, a short train journey takes you to Wallis, which is maybe my favourite place to cycle in the country. Actually, Sion or Visp would also be great bases in Switzerland. Andermatt only gives you acess to the big passes, and they are horrendous with the cars and motorbikes.

Thanks for the video! On a side note I’ve got inspired by Austrian views from your Instagram profile and cycled a loop of Munich - Salzburg - Innsbruck - Munich. Some of the nicest roads and views I’ve been to for sure. Next time will just stay around Salzburg 😉

Wouldn’t thank you for Mallorca. Traffic is horrendous, hire cars, tour buses. Will never be back.
