When you were talking about the Voyager Tarot, you were describing the reasons I love collage art decks. I can’t get enough of them! I have gone back and forth over the Voyager Tarot and hoping I would find a 2nd hand copy at Half Price Books. I haven’t yet, so I think I may have to bite! Oh, and I love the artwork for the Luminous Void Tarot, but I really don’t like the shape, so I’ve held off. One of my favorite combos is the Shimmering Veil Tarot and the Roots and Wings. Roots and Wings is my all time favorite oracle.

Yes! (re collage decks) we have very similar tastes, they're my fav😊 and Roots and Wings might be mine too; I carry the mini daily and always come back to it. I keep hoping she'll do a Tarot but who knows, a gal can dream 😍

It warms my heart to see the Voyager Tarot finally getting some love on KZbin. It was my very first tarot deck I bought in 1993, and for most of the intervening years it was my ONLY tarot deck (until a couple years ago, then all of a sudden I'm collecting oracle decks and even a couple more tarot decks). At that time, it was an amazing departure from traditional tarot and upon first sight I knew it was for me. It opened the door to divination for me and became a trusty tool for Connection, in the spiritual sense of the word.

Our 9 yo son is currently homeschooled, and one of our activities to spark imagination is "Tarot Stories." I shuffle and lay out cards, and he tells the story that he sees. The Anna K was the first deck that we used. A year into this, and it's still among his favorites. I always hear remarks about the faces on the people in this deck, and it reminds me how shallow we can be as a species. Not everyone is classically "beautiful," and this deck is a perfect example of how wonderfully perfect something can be, without being what society considers "beautiful." For that alone, the Anna K will always be one of my favorite decks.

I am having this experience lately with the Tarot of the drowning world where I didn't expect for it to provoke my intuition or this hard to explain experience that happens when I see the cards. The Ceccoli Tarot is one of the decks on my wishlist, I just wish the major arcana had the names written on as I am a beginner in tarot.. I barely have 10 tarot decks as I mostly have been using oracle cards. So I wouldn't be able to make a list like this with tarot cards. But I am eager to use tarot more, I just need to take a look at your begginer course so I can learn the meanings better.. 😊

Great decks! I really want to make a response video but I am getting ready to focus on a few decks this coming month. My most intuitive tarot deck is the Cheimonette. It's the water colour and the way the art is blended that evokes these emotional responses for me; I don't understand how it works but it pulls from me things I didn't even know I knew. On the opposite side of that, the Wild Unknown is completely intuitive for me but in an analytical way. For example, with the Wild Unknown, I'm analyzing the lines and colours, but not in any defined way...it seems like every reading, even if the same card shows up, I analyze it in a whole new way. I agree my most intuitive oracle deck are the soul cards; it's like being thrown in the deep end with those...you have no choice but to trust yourself. Congratulations on finishing your course, I look forward to taking it someday!

I feel like when a deck like Shimmering Veil gets to a place where you don't notice the tarot association up front, it might as well be an oracle and I've never really figured out how to use an oracle, except to appreciate the art. Cila's Intuitive Tarot is much more my style: artistic, but it's clear what each card is in the tarot system. Dream Visions, Cosma Visions, even Majestic Earth Tarot are intuitive tarot decks for me. Interesting that you don't include any Marseilles style decks: Tarot des Aux Arcs, for example, is a very intuitive deck to me! Congrats on launching your course :)

The Ceccoli Tarot is an incredibly intuitive deck for me as well. I probably wouldn't use it for clients unless they specifically requested it. Definitely can see how it could be very triggering for some. But it's incredibly intuitive for me. What's interesting is how some feel about the Ceccoli is how I feel about the Roots and Wings Oracle. It is so creepy to me! Something about the art just creeps me out and I just am.not at all interested in trying to work with it. So interesting... For some reason, the Soul Cards decks do absolutely nothing for me. I've watched walk throughs and readings with them and the images spark absolutely nothing for me. So strange... I've been tempted lately by the Voyager Tarot, but maybe with the card titles chopped off and maybe leaving the keywords on. Not sure. Voyager and the Margarete Peterson Tarot both seem like they would be very intuitive for me. I might have to get them and give them a try.

You're definitely not alone in not feeling connected to Soul Cards. It's hard when someone gushes about something cuz you're like THAT MUST WORK FOR ME TOO but I've found that's often not the case - it just depends! I can also see how the Roots and Wings could be viewed that way -- the peopley figures are kinda odd which could be a thing. The voyager is really a fascinating deck to work with!

I’m trying to find a comparison video of the voyager tarot the vintage edition and mass market edition. Do you happen to know the difference between both? Are the card-stock the same? Boarders different? Image quality better in the vintage? Size? Let me know if you know. I have issues with seeing on the mass market and wondering if the vintage would be better. I want to experience this deck as best as I can. Thank you!

Oh I guess I never filmed one of those!!! :D The Vintage edition that I have is larger and the borders are much paler - more creamy ivory than the sort of puce color on the mass market. The cardstock honestly feels pretty similar between the two. I prefer the paler borders but I don't think I would have gone out of my way to seek a vintage copy out - I had an opportunity to trade with a friend.

Lisa, I was in Kelly F,s Lenormand class today and in referring to Lenormand she stated if you are reading intuitively then you are reading it as an oracle deck. Listening to this video and your words I’m wondering the same thing. When reading Tarot intuitively are you reading it as an oracle or both. I’m very interested in this discussion, what are your thoughts on this topic?

I think with Kelly (because I've taken her Lenormand classes) she means with Lenormand, you can read them however you want, but if you do that, it's an Oracle deck (which is fine)...but that's because Lenormand reading is cemented/rigid (but full of beautiful layers and pathways!) in the specific meanings to the cards. Tarot as a system also has its individual card meanings, but I think there's an allowance there to also use your intuition/grow/expand/explore beyond the definition of meaning. A single tarot card can blossom into a full flower...but to achieve that blossom in Lenormand (traditionally speaking) you need to unlock the pathway/combine cards. (Just my opinion) 💙🌙🔮

There's no way I can read intuitionly with these decks. Specifically I haven't touched my card since before 2019. I need the books or a word or phrase in the card. With regular tarot o need the books. I have a long way to go.
