Brilliant little list there! That Tamdhu 15 was just delightful, so much so it was quickly bought and added to a growing collection of sherried bottles. There's a very obvious jump between the 12 and 15 there, the former being just a wee bit lighter and easily drinkable and the latter aging into a rich, delectable concoction of most of the same flavors but with a more refined balance. Just brilliant! Penderyn Portwood and Bimber Re-Charred SC were really really good drams as well. Just gotta try that Arran QC at some point and see what the fuss is about :)

discovered you the other day. Watching old vids. I'm pleased. Keep to this. Expensive whisky is great but when you get to £200 a bottle...its nice to know that its great but not an option for most of us. Honest tasting notes and a serious love of the malt. I will be watching the old vids and ringing the bell for future info. I am on a budget and you are a godsend. Thankyou. Keep keeping it real !

Agree on the Arran quarter cask. Arran 10 was extremely hard to come by for the longest while here but I was able to pick up a couple of bottles of The Bothy and was really impressed.

Here's one I know is right up your street. The Benromach Cask Strength Batch 4. This is the closest from the batch statements to the 10 year it replaced and it's bottled at pretty much identical strength. I'm enjoying the Bimber ex-bourbon. I'm loving the Bruichladdich (Orkney) Bere Barley from 2010 so much that I have no doubt that the latest one will be a winner. Cheers

Bimber is a polish distillery from London. Bimber means Moonshine in polish language.
