My Top 9 Mountain Bike Trails in the Saint George and Hurricane Utah area

I was able to ride my top 9 favorite trails in the Saint George and Hurricane area in two days. I had two batteries for my 2022 Specialized Levo that helped me ride as much as my body would let me in two day. I used both batteries each day. Yesterday I moved out to the Hurricane area and rode Hurricane Rim trail, Cryptobionic, Dead ringer. 20 Miles and used only 50% of my battery. Hurricane rim was pretty gnarly but the other two were fast and flowy. Tomorrow I’ll visit Zion. I hope everything is open. Cheers!

Yesterday I rode Zen late in the day for the first time (low light, lost the trail, yadayadayada) and bent my front disk on a rock. Not so bad that it affected my ride much luckily. (Shout out to Red Rock shop for fixing it on a late Sunday afternoon!) I survived and today rode up Bearclaw Poppy (fast and flowy) and at halfway made the climb up onto the mesa to ride Barrel (zen-like) and then back down the gap back to the Bearclaw downhill. (Very fast and flowy). I really love your real time ride narratives, man. These videos are in no small way what motivated me to get the Levo alloy comp. ( also the incredible sale and no sales tax in Portland!). Also this video is what motivated me to visit St. George on my west coast road trip. Cheers!

Thanks for sharing these trails views. I still have to ride KLC, Scout Trails, Little Creek Mesa and Grafton Mesa, so this video gives me a good perspective of what to expect. I might be down there for the Christmas holidays. Man, you tackled all that chunky terrain like a champ; I was especially impressed by how well you rode Grafton given its super technical reputation. Great job!

Man this brings back a lot of memories! You got a lot of riding in in a short amount of time. I'd be curious to see what you thought of climbing Grafton Mesa. When we rode it with Eric's crew we climbed/hiked it.

Good memories. I actually climbed the road but next time I'll climb up the trail. I bet I could climb back up in 15 minutes

Really awesome videos. Did you adjust your head tube angle? Mine is set up with the slackest setting and it feels too far out and unwieldy. Did you steepen yours?

I prefer mine in the steeper setting. I hate pedal strikes more than anything, and it is still plenty slack for me in the higher setting.

I plan on taking my new levo out to the st george area here soon. I'm having a hard time finding out the legality of riding out there. Did you have any problems?

No problems at all. You can ride e-bikes on any trail around Saint George. Have a great time and let me know what trails you ride and which ones you liked. CONGRATS ON A RAD BIKE!!!
