The second Tamarack jacket is simply beautiful. You have encouraged me to try this pattern. Living in South Africa on the Highveld we have extreme temperatures here as well, and it's so useful to have a jacket to throw on for an extra layer when we head towards the colder weather. Winter here can be very cold but days are usually sunny and bright.

Loved this video! So many lovely jackets and I really got inspired to make the first one, with the quilting. I thought you must be able to use it on the reverse? I will try to make it like that, I think it looks nice with the biasbinding showing like a detail. Your colour choices are stunning, just up my alley 😍😍😍

Rose Webber hi there! I don’t have a sew along for the tamarack as this one was made 2 years ago ( previous to my vlog) but I can say that my mum just made one of these and she actually found it quite an enjoyable sew as a new sewist. I will see if I can find a good tutorial online for you!
