Well, i was so hyped when RE7 was anounced. Y played the game, and even it does not has a big variety of enemies, i think that is one of the best games i ever played, i never felt so impressed with a game. RE7 was a lot, lot more of what i expected.

As you previously stated, you obviously didn't play many games from 2017 if these were your top 5 worst. Evil Within 2 and RE7 were both critical and commercial successes by a large margin. I'm not saying it's inconceivable that you didn't enjoy them, but they're a far cry from bad or even mediocre games.

Yeah, RE7 was pretty much a doo doo. It's enjoyable for what it's worth, but it definitely isn't the best game of the series nor by the claims of Gamesradar the best horror game ever made just because it supports VR. Puzzle are shit, the second half is boring as a regular COD campaign, the final boss is shit, lack of weapon and enemy variety, convoluted story and the lack of actual replay value if you didn't purchase the DLC's. As the matter of fact, Not a Hero free DLC is a fucking garbo.

The biggest issue I have with the Not a Hero DLC is that it's less horror oriented so it fails at the scare factor since you can pretty much smack the living hell out of the Molded, but if you play it as a first person shooter, the mechanics are kind of clunky and it lacks a jump arch and so again, it lacks on that category too. But not that I should complain though since it is free to download.
