You hair extensions are done to perfection. It just looks like you grew your hair out. So natural. You look incredible. I'd love to do them, but my hair is so baby fine, that I don't think that there's enough hair to grab onto. I did have a custom topper made, but it does get uncomfortable after awhile, since it clips in. How I hate bras. But as a 34D, there's no escaping them. At 63, and having had 2 children, and nursing them each for a year, my breasts have definitely gone south. If I wasn't so scared, I'd get a reduction and a lift. I don't have excess weight to lose, so that's not the answer. Ugh. Love lounge bras. I've even slept in them. Thanks Serena. Great video. Enjoy your weekend! ❤❤

Greetings Serena! Thank you so much for this video! I have had that kind of hair extensions before and they just didn't really work out for me personally. I think my scalp is too sensitive and my hair is too fine. I've tried several different types, so it's just me, not the extensions. Now on to bra's! This is an ongoing issue for me because I wear a 32 strap size. Bali used to make my favorite bra and it actually fit ( at the time I was a D cup size) but they don't have it in a 32 anymore. I would love to do extensions but I cannot afford it! I also gave thin hair but have always had thin straight hair! Now that I’m 66 it’s really thin but I’ll just have to deal with it! My husband is Vietnamese and our daughter has beautiful thick hair. I don't. I wear it short with a lot of product for height and body. When it grows, it is too fine and won't stay up like I want it. Bras: I hate to try new things because it's often a waste of money but I know I need to. I have shoulder indentations because of my heavy bust. Not fun. I've never tried a strapless bra because I don't think it work. It's very helpful to see someone with a bust give advice.

I was the opposite. When I was young my hair was straight and a little course but after menopause it is now wavy with a few corkscrew curls and very frizzy! Not happy. I straighten it 95% of the time. I love your hair longer, you look GREAT!!

I love the hanes bra from Walmart. I wear mine every day. I’m a 36-38 DD. And honestly saggy but that bra is so comfortable i just have to wear it every day.

I also have a Hanes bra that I found while going. Through breast cancer surgery an reconstruction surgery. It is the softest bra ever. It has no underwire. Just the right thickness. The straps are very comfortable. They are wider and have no hooks. I just love them. When Hanes marked some down, I bought several. They were the only bras that were comfortable during that time and I still wear them.

Hi Serena, I love your channel so much! I appreciate you sharing your hair extensions for I have also experienced the age related thinning hair. I wanted to share as another option for anyone who may not know the “Halo by Jess” hair extensions. I have had them since December and it has been Life Changing! They are not a permanent extension so there is zero damage and you can take it out at the end of the day. The cost is actually less than permanent extensions because you only invest one time. I am sharing this because it really has made me so much more confident and they are beautiful! Jess Hallock has a You Tube channel and if you type in her name you will see what they are. Somewhere along the way as I got older(and fatter), I went into a 36C. Hated having them lol. Joy since I lost weight I am back to my high school size and love it. I tried extensions for volume. The lady I hired to put them in was horrible. She ordered hair extensions that were too short for my existing length. So she tried to fix this mistake by putting the extensions lower on my head. My hair was a knotted mess after two days. It cost me so much money and my head itched all the time, I couldn't stand having them. Now, my hair is down to the middle of my back. I eventually quit coloring it and it's salt and pepper now. I found that I had so much hair loss from dying my hair. My hair is much thicker and healthier after I stopped the chemicals. I'm so glad you found someone who knows what they're doing. As far as the bras go I wear a 34E. Not an easy size to find anywhere. Underwires just kill me. I'm wearing a plus sized stretchy bra (wire free) that I recently got from Walmart, and it's actually kinda decent. Secret Treasure is the brand.

I love your "new" hair! You are beautiful. I am 54 and I don't look as good as you at all! I have thought about doing extensions. I live in Tampa and they start around $500 here! Hi Vonda. It's a weird sensation. I'm "aware" of the extensions but they don't pull. My scalp was sore the first night, similar to the way it feels if you wear a tight ponytail. Now it itches a bit. My stylist said the itchy phase would last about a week.

🥰Beautiful… I’ve been on team longer hair style 🙌🏽…. I was never a fan of that soccer mom hair style anymore. I had that blunt bob for years too & finally decided to grow it out & get up with a more current hair style. I have contemplated extensions but I thought that all that heavy pulling on my hair would actually ruin the roots of my hair making them weaker and maybe pulling the hair out and making my scalp have less hair growing back. Did you stylist tell you about any cons with extensions? Thank you for the tips on good bras. Target also sells those nice lounge bras. I have one on now. I always take my good bras off when I come home and put the lounge bras on. I actually said out loud, :Woe" when you showed us the snap to make the bra a racer back one. Good find! :-) I have a question about the strapless bra you showed us. You can see through it. Is that enough so your nibs don't show due to AC? Thanks again.

Hi Anita. The method used for my extensions puts the least amount of stress on your actual hair than other methods since the extensions are sewn onto that track that's created with the beads & string. Clip-ins, tape-ins, etc are fastened directly to the hair and are a lot more stressful. About the bra, yes...I have to wear a pair of the silicone nipple covers if I'm wearing something thin or clingy with the strapless bra.

Going to try some of the recommended bras. I despise bras... so hard to find comfortable ones. I work several overnight 12 hour shifts as a caregiver and halfway through the shift the dang bra usually comes off and gets shoved in my purse.

you are singing my tune! just had my hormones checked because I felt terrible, but my hair was getting incredibly thin, like thinking wigs, or extensions 🙃 something... my estrogen was 7, while on estradiol vaginal cream! we changed my hormones to bio-identical and 2 weeks in, I'm feeling SO much better and noticed my hair not shedding as much, using Vegamor too. But still thinking extensions would be wonderful right now. so thank you for such personal insight. Bras, I wear Wacoal too, that same as the 1st one and another Wacoal style too. I'm looking for a pretty, and soft bralette, but I'm a D cup so still looking. In your experience, have you ever seen a front closure longline strapless bra, as well as a front closure regular strapless bra? I’d like to wear these; but, fastening in the front and then twisting the bra around is a real challenge. Also, the strapless bra that you recommend only goes to 38. Any other recommendations?

Hi Serena..I can tell you from being a non working stylist your stylist did a great job. I was one that said don’t cut your hair. You can wear a bob, though and a lot of people can not. Those extensions could not be done any better. I would definitely recommend real hair and sew in extensions. I personally did not do them, but I have seen the halos, the glue in , the clip in etc, but the sewn in our the best. I know you have heard me say this before, but my husband and I had a tragic event..something so horrible and so unexpected..something that probably will never happen to ninety nine percent of the populations. It costs us so much money, and it affected our health and we continue to have ptsd. This was not our fault. The point of this is I lost gobs of hair. I could not eat for months and the stress and lack of protein made my already thin hair hopeless. Eventually things got better, but my hair did not improve. One of the first fashion and lifestyle utuber influencers I watched is , Erin Busbee of Busbee Style. She just reached the 600,000 subscribers. She recommended on her channel taking collagen in powder form for hair, skin, and nails everyday. I have been fortunate that I watch a friend’s five cats when she goes out of town and she buys my collagen. She gets a good brand called Nature’s Path and I put it in my coffee …it basically does not change the taste. You can also get powder collagen that you can put in cold drinks. My friend said this particular one does change in hot tea. Anyhow, my hair will never be thick and luxurious, but it did come back. I am older than you, but I prefer my hair longer and all of my friends say I look better in longer hair and in the summer It is often on top of my head in a loose bun or in a pony tail . I highly recommend collagen . Yes, to taking off underwire at the end of the day and putting on a Hanes comfy bra. I don’t have that particular one…but it is a Hanes and comfy enough and decent enough if you have unexpected company in the evening no one will be shocked. Sorry for such a long comment. I was really liking your shorter hair. It made you look younger and uplifted. The hair extensions drag you down and look rather fake. I get color put ON my hair so that it isn't white. And I have a good hair colorist who understands that hair isn't naturally 1 color throughout. I get blonde color put on it plus low-lights at the root to make it look natural.
