Man, I'm just so shocked. I came to check earlier today and see if he's posted, I check from time to time. And when I saw the comments saying he passed away, I didn't wanna believe it. I messaged him once on instagram and he responded. Man, Josh you seemed like such a nice and great guy, always wanting to live life to the fullest. I told other people who skateboarded and longboarded to check out these videos. My first video I found was the race against the storm video. I've been a fan since. It's just so crazy to believe that he's gone. Josh Neuman, you were truly one awesome guy. Always such a great guy. Not letting anything get you down, that crash you called your worst crash, you walked out the hospital saying you're not gonna let it bring you down, and so many other crashes you never let stop you. Unfortunetly it was too late. They probably had minutes in the freezing water. May they rest in peace.

RIP Josh. I'm probably older than most here.....49 years old. Never really skateboarded, but all the x games hit when I was in my 20's and I loved it. Don't have cable so I missed out on seeing a lot of that kinda stuff for a long time now, but during the pandemic when I was staying in more I started watching more KZbin and Josh's videos were one of the things that I found and I loved. It was kinda a melding of those kinda extreme sports with cool music with the outdoors which I love me some hiking in the mountains. I just looked up his videos again and I watched a few of them......the alpine descents vids over the past hour or so and then for the heck of it I pulled up this one which was his latest. Even though when I first saw him doing this stuff I thought it was crazy.........cool.........but crazy. Then after watching for a while I stopped thinking of it as being dangerous(for him)because he seemed to be in control.....I know it's dangerous, but somehow after watching him enough I stopped thinking about it. So I was really shocked when I scrolled down to the comments to see this news of his death. He really was one of the things that kept me from some serious depression during the pandemic so this is truly sad to see and despite knowing that he was doing something risky it really shocked me. Thanks Josh for giving an older dude something that gave me an escape during a pretty crummy time.......I hope to see you on the other side.
