I agree That robin is probably the most underrated looper and deserves more appreciation and respect. Thankfully he has gotten that during this kbb and hopefully more during GBB. I also agree that robin has the most beautiful loop round ever.. BUT I believe it's his second round vs Saro in the world beatbox champs. But I swear every round from robin i hear is something magical. When you hear it you almost know it's robin even if u couldn't see it was him. His style and musicality is wonderful.

@@zodiark420 I think the saddest part about all of it, Is that robin cares so much about making a masterpiece and about quality of music. And with the criteria in place he often doesn't succeed because he tries to entertain and impress with beauty instead of utilize hype and more mainstream loop styles that judges often lean towards. Especially during live events. Robins biggest weakness is his greatness.

@@dylanvox6749 yeah battles like this prob dont favor his style as much. but still he impressed everyone even the judges. i think it was more the Technical stuff like his edit/mixing. doing it live and in some of the environments he was in like a river a balloon. i bet he will come up with a way to correct. they have such short time to do everything between rounds. i am actually glad u went the way he did.... he seriously has raised the bar on what can be done in a battle round when it comes to filming. i think maybe a second device that could help with say more noise gating/compression or some kinda better EQ to help level stuff out mighta set him over the top. (i know i said it second device... lol. i not talking some crazy stuff just something to help with where he was at for some rounds.) idk much on that side of looping yet as i am just starting my learning how to. i do agree. i think Robin, whats that old Tale.... OH flew to close to the sun with what he wanted to do. lol. but as i said. i glad he did. maybe it did not pan out this time... but now that its been done... it will only get better i think

Robin's rounds have a certain "cohesiveness" to them. Even his drops felt like they belonged exactly when they happened. I haven't seen any other looper put a track together as well as he can.

Robin can go on all top 5 rounds, he put on a performance for the ages. But this list is pretty solid. When I first listened to his track where he rode on top of a car I had tears in my eyes. Not only is it the most beautiful loop track ever made but also it was the follow up to Frosty's epic second round and ended up winning Robin the battle. This is the stuff legends are made of.

My top 5 and a brief explanation: 1: Robin's second round against Frosty 2: PSn's second round against Kristof 3: Kristof's first round against PSn 4: PSn's first round against Kristof 5: Josh-O's Second round against M-Age even though there were some rounds with heavy hard hitting drops, for me the highlight of the event were those rounds that made you vibe and feel good, rounds that you can listen to on repeat non stop and imo this 5 rounds delivered that. Also Robin's round gives me goosebumps LITERALLY every time, i hope he realizes how mindblowing his music is.

Heya, MK2 noob here - i have the MK1 and don't know how the Kickbox Drums and Hihats are made to sound like this @8:50 and @9:02 . Can't remember that it's possible to make kickdrum sound this fat with MK1 ?? also the hihats. Is there a tutorial for the mk2 where i can see in detail which efx is used?

You coud do it on mk1 and mk2 for the the kick use on A filter hpf resonase 70 cut off 10 and rate is 0 depth 50! on B use eq and bost the lows like 10+ or whetever you want ! For the hihat just eq bosting the high and redusing the lows
