They shouldn't have an expiration date since that redemption card is bought and paid for and should be exclusive to that redemption card. Thay should keep it till its redeemed. Another reason Topps is trash.

@@thesandiegoupcycler2586 if they ever signed. I had a Stadium Club redemption out since 2019 and they eventually sent me some rando auto from Topps Chrome because the no-name guy never signed. Bunk, I collect Stadium Club! At least it sounds like Fanatics is trying to fix/end redemptions.

They don’t destroy the card. I worked at tops for more than 10 years. They give you cards that are also expired redemptions. Sometimes you make out, sometimes you don’t. They don’t put a lot of thought into it, as the process could have been better. Cards did go missing and that resulted in Topps putting all items of high value under 24 hour surveillance now at all their warehouses. The only people stealing are the higher ups and IT and Security personnel

I use to collect NASCAR cards bought a ten year old box and pulled a rare first bite Dale Earnhardt auto redemption mailed it in anyway. And they actually sent it to me.

That’s a cool return but you know and we all know. That value is about 10k short of what card you should’ve received. If you wanna know what happened to that card. Just check the manager of that topps department home. They probably don’t even wait a day after that card is expired to take it home

I don't like how redemptions are only good for 2 years should be a minimum of 5 years that way there's time to redeem them. Hate when Topps sends you 500 bucks of product if that for a redemption that was worth 3-5K they robbed you blind.

In 2018, through Topps social media, I want to meet and greet at Yankee Stadium with Didi Gregorius. Even though they brought me to the field, Didi Gregorius would not come, and the Yankee rep said, " nothing they can do about it." The Topps rep asked me who's my favorite team was and About a month later I received A box of tops archives And An autographed card of Daryl Strawberry And almost all the variants of that card unsigned from the silver pack that year. I don't understand y the consumer takes the loss....to ke they should remove whatever cards that didn't make it when product releases off the checklist or wait and put pressure on the players and their contracts to fulfill. Cards are at a premium already and then projected checklists isn't even complete and sometimes it's the chase players that drive the product up already .

Better than what I got. I had a Freddie freeman laundry tag auo rc that expired during covid they sent me an update pack and 2 autos that was selling on ebay for $5 each. Bad thing is my redemption expired like a week out.

Topps employees probably have the best PC from all the stolen redemptions. 5. 10. 20 years from now Bet we see alot of these stolen redemptions hit the market. It's easy to hang on to something for a while when you pocket it and didn't cost you a dime. I wonder how far up the ladder the topps scheme goes. Steal the hits, years later send crappy junk cards packs and products. CEO probably has the best Redemption PC
