the thing that I enjoyed the most, is that not just it inspires me to have a better lifestyle, also i admire how real and how original the content is. its not like she is showing off that she is the only lady biker or the fastest, she just sharing the whole journey, with the all the struggles and difficulties. i truly enjoyed that because the content is original and legit. never dissapointed with ur content. support all the way from MY 🇲🇾

I love your style of video. Unpretentious, doesn't take it self seriously and above all fun. This is why it's so enjoyable to watch your channel.

The trick I use for warm feet, even if they get wet. Wool. My checklist for if Im going biking in the wet and the cold 1 - Wool socks 2 - Clingfilm or aluminium foil wrapped around your feet before you put shoes on 3 - Something like a Flandrien Waterproof shoe cover. basically a waterproof sock you put on your shoes Also since alot of cycling shoes have airholes on the bottom it can be beneficial to close those with something like a piece of tape PS. Get this man a beer! (And a bike, you know he wants to)

Great work! Rain booties are useful, they won't keep your feet totally dry in a downpour but they can help keep the wind off them and help keep them warm.

If cycle lanes in the UK looked like that I’d be out in any weather! But they don’t 🤦♀️. Love your videos ❤😊🤘

I commute by bike a lot, especially through rainy Nova Scotia weather. I HIGHLY recommend investing in some shoe covers if you're going to bike in the rain in the future. They keep your feet dry and warm.

I used to WHINE when I'd see a hill coming up, and then after a really bad bike accident that took a few years to recover from I got back in the saddle and hills were nothing, hills were a welcome challenge. All it took was breaking my back and having to suffer through recovery to make me as psychologically strong as I needed to be to climb a hill without whining about it lol. Btw I'm impressed with the cycling infrastructure where you are!

great another cycling video :D I can't say for sure, but if you feel any pain in your knees, It looks like your saddle might be a bit too high, ideally you want 140-145° knee angle when foot is at 6 o'clock position, and at 3 o'clock position, your knee should be slightly over the pedal spindle.

Hey Makari! That rain-soaked bike adventure was epic! 😄 As a video editor, I loved how you captured the whole chaotic journey - especially those rainy shots and your hilarious commentary while battling those hills. Would love to collab if you're ever looking for an editor! Keep making these awesome adventure vlogs! 🚴♂🌧

Cycling in the rain, in winter, proves you're a real cyclist. Wait. Does Canada even have a winter???
@xosСағат бұрын
In the lower parts of BC, it often stays pretty temperate! Most of Canada is not so fortunate 😅 Go a bit north/east and suddenly it's a high of -23C/-10F for the day.
@EstebanDVOСағат бұрын
I'm in Kingston, Ontario which gets really soft winters and even here you won't be biking outside of maybe commuting downtown.

@@EstebanDVOit isn't even safe to bike in most places in Canada lol 😆 😂 🤣 😅 unless you want to die

The internet lies. Especially about hills. 😉 Also, you can get toe warmers (like the packets for hands, i.e., HotHands). I put them on top of my socks, not directly on the skin.

For a new (novice?) cyclist, your climbing technique while standing (aka “out of the saddle”) looks great! And good on ya for riding in the rain - that’s hardcore.
