Love the idea of riding out to pick it up rather than just getting a taxi or something! Jackson's enthusiasm is great! I'm not sure I would have been so keen :D However, I have a goal for this year to not let the weather stop me from doing things, and this is a great example of someone doing that!

I had to laugh as I was seeing the “Welcome to Tofino”-sign. We had unbelievable heavy rain while visiting Tofino a few years ago. I see a pattern 😅

So happy to see you go from being scared to ride a bike to conquering adventures in the rain. Bikes are joy! I've been cycling for 20 years. I still hate hills. 😅

You started too hard switched too soon to a road bike did weights good knows why still don’t own a jersey no strava no HR figures no cadence figures and most importantly no cleats took me two years to reach that with an avg speed of 30 km per hour and my own cycling group however I love solo night rides the best ride on

The screaming while riding in the rain voice over while Makari shows off what she's wearing is hilarious and such a vibe 🤣🤣🤣 Jackson you are such a champ for soldiering through and just being overall enthusiastic and positive the whole time. And singing 😊 Only true bikers ride in the cold, wind and rain in winter.

Fun trip with a purpose. I retired in 2013 after 34 years, I was 59 and a half. To celebrate a friend and I got on a plane, flew to Budapest Hungary, bought a couple of bikes and some panniers. Spent a week walking around Budapest, really nice college town. We loaded the bikes with all our gear and proceeded to ride the bike trail along the Danube river to Germany. Taking our time to see the sights and smell the roses we road about 20-30 km every day. Sometimes we spent a couple of days in bigger towns, museums, historical sights everywhere. Stayed in youth hostels, and many people rent rooms for the night along the river. Two and half months, 950 miles later we made it through 5 countries to the western Germany were the Danube begins. Spent another month bouncing around Bavaria and headed home. Sunshine, Rain, Snow, Sleet, Hail, we had it all and would do it again. Still riding at 71 3-4 days a weeks, just wish there were more, longer bike trails in California.

For a new (novice?) cyclist, your climbing technique while standing (aka “out of the saddle”) looks great! And good on ya for riding in the rain - that’s hardcore.

I have the Trek Checkpoint SL5 which is a gravel bike. I have to agree, it's the best compromise for efficiency in cycling without getting a full on road bike.

the thing that I enjoyed the most, is that not just it inspires me to have a better lifestyle, also i admire how real and how original the content is. its not like she is showing off that she is the only lady biker or the fastest, she just sharing the whole journey, with the all the struggles and difficulties. i truly enjoyed that because the content is original and legit. never dissapointed with ur content. support all the way from MY 🇲🇾
