Hey Ian, I had a dream about you yesterday. We were standing in a creek, and you were trying to tell me about how cEDH was a brutal sport, and how “many good men and women lost their wives to this sport". But I wasn't really paying attention because there was a giant (2ft) cricket behind you and I wanted to tell you, but you just kept going on about how cEDH shows the most primal aspects of a person so I couldn't get a word in. Anyway love the videos, congrats on the big win :)

Heya, Kess player here! The event overall was a lot of fun and definitely enjoyed that top 4 game. I probably could’ve aggressively mulled but given I already went down to 5 in seat 3 behind Sisay and Tivit, it was a tough spot. The Vault actually grabbed dockside and Imperial recruiter, at which point I had enough mana to get displacer and start trying to go over the stack. I think I just got antsy with the phases passing and should’ve waited until end of turn. I didn’t think about grabbing the opposition but given the stage of the game I don’t know if I even had another turn coming behind both sisays and Tivit. All in all, enjoyed the games. Already brewing for the next event, and I’m sure I’ll see ya in OKC!

I could see how making public, main-channel videos of gameplay coaching might be hard, distracting from the content/algorithm or intrusive for the ones being coached, but some patreon exclusive videos showing sme good coaching sessions, with gameplay and your feedback/discussions could be a cool perk.

As another Ian who pilots sisay in my local scene. I really like this list. It's very close to mine. I think I'll test chainer and ertai. I don't like that they're 4 drops. But if they're good, they're good. I've been on smothering tithe for forever. It's so, so good. I'm on even more interaction than you are And I think elvish spirit guide is really interesting.

Ertai is very good. However, Chainer... Is pretty overrated. He used to be a staple in the deck prior to ONE, but Tyvar does what Chainer does much better and for less mana.
