Hey sammy, i have a personal question for you about yourself and nick. When you took a break or broke up, how long before you started to see each other again and take things slowly? Im currently going through a break up with a man that I'm madly in love with and its horrific. Although its probably for the best in the long run, I can't help but still want to be with him and hope that we can go on a date in a couple months. He has told me that we need time apart and we might go on a date in a couple months. How did you know it was right to get back together and how did you navigate taking things slowly? especially if you have history with the person and/or in love with them. Would love your advice. Hey! I went through a break up, got back together and broke up again. Before we first broke up, we were engaged!! After breaking up, we got back together a month and a half later. It's important you take time apart before trying again. You need to know you really want to try again or if it's just that survival instinct you're getting coz you're losing him/afraid of being alone/scared. Once you take some time off, drive your focus on you, you'll see if you still want him in your life. If you feel like you do, take it slow!! You cannot and wont spring back as if things were ok. You need to be gentle on YOURSELF because theres a reason you two broke up. So you have to really see. With me, we got back together, we took things slow, but the damage was already done. So we broke up. It's a better closure for me
