Getting regular exercise is a must for me when it comes to getting myself inspired. It's always a good bike ride first, and then I'm ready to sit down and start coming up with ideas to the next song, or working on the one on my project list.

That works for me too, Ron. A good run always helps, but waiting for the grey weather to clear seems to work best.

Interestingly enough, I used this state of mind to create Instagram videos. I didn’t do selfie videos saying “I’m depressed.” I created mini music videos of my old songs and wrote long captions about my feelings. Commenters have expressed that they’ve felt the same way, or that my messages have been helpful to them. This practice has actually proven to be therapeutic for me. The downside is that it’s improved my mental health and the “down” moments that have provided inspiration for content, are now few. Ultimately a good problem to have, I guess.

Nice position of you. Breathing exercises always put me back in a creative mood. Depression brings short Breathing and this avoid oxygen flows through the blood, lowering body energy and creativity mood. We can see how life is creative it self. To be in the mood with creative processes of nature we should star with simple deep Breathing. We are in side that wonderful blue bobble of oxygen and creativity. Once we could be connected to this the creative processes should be easier.

I do ThetaHealing. Basically just like you Chris. I deal with the problem and embrace it. Be honest about how that problem makes me feel. Understanding that feeling and living it. Finding the pattern in my subconsious and changing it with meditation.
