Loved the video. Very informational and gave me some confidence to tackle our trillium’s windows. Thank you!

Wow! Thank you so very much for the detailed information and tips. I recently bought a 1961 New Moon trailer and really want to restore the windows. ( They are a mess!) Your suggestions have made me feel that I’ll be able to find the old gaskets and parts to bring them back to life. Thank you!

Thank you for sharing this great information. I'm at my 3rd window and I have to take down the ones I thought I had done and redo them properly. We're remodeling an Aristocrat Classic, it's quite big, lots of windows

Thanks, great work on the Windows and the videos. We have a 1981 trillium. We had it since 1993 but haven't used it in a decade. We have just retired and one of my projects is to restore this trailer. I will need to do some fibreglass repair ( heavy branch landed on the roof and did some damage..). I was dreading what to do about the Windows but now feel confident we can tackle them too. Thanks again. Leo

Will you be doing more Trillium restoration videos? They've been really helpful.

Great video. I appreciate you sharing the learning process that you went through to get to the point where the restoration job became easier. I must say though how do people work with the imperial measurement system? 3/32nd of an inch for the seals? I could never find that on a ruler but I can find 2.4 mm....

I often wish the USA would switch systems, too!

I found aluminum brightener then go back over it with an SOS pad to be most effective with the least effort.

Glad you found something that works!

Screws were hard enough to get without Locktite, I'd put antiseize on the screws.

What about straightening out the aluminum frames? I find that the PO over tightened the screws and the frames are a bit warped. Any specific suggestions? I will be trying to use a vice I think….

I would probably try putting them in a vice, too.

Now that u have the experience would it be worthwhile to send those windows away to get redone with new seals etc.

I’m committed to doing as much of it by myself as I can - simply because I enjoy learning how to do it. I’m also hoping to generate income from it (first by renting it out for a few seasons, then I’ll likely sell it some day). So the less money I put in means more money in my pocket later.
