why need to cowra for ipc? not YSBK?
@studybeforeflight2 жыл бұрын
Cowra is cheap and nice training facility. YSBK was not the same anymore.

Congratulations Jane! well done! Is the IPC a yearly requirement?

Thank you! haven't seen you for a while, thought that you left me 😭😭 haha Yes IPC is a yearly requirement. People can choose to not renew it and let it elapsed, if they are not using it.

Congrats on the pass. Wouldn't it be nice if you could borrow a plane from Fly OZ and fly yourself back home haha

Hello Jane, I am an international student studying in Australia and hoping to get citizenship in Australia in future. My question is ,an Indian with Australian citizenship able to participate in the Quantas/Jetstar cadetship pilot program and find a job in the airlines in Australia? Have you ever came across any pilots who is an Indian and working as an airline pilot in Australia. I follow your videos and they are really helpful and informative for aspiring pilots. Thank you for your time and support.

Finding a job is never easy in Australia, including charter, instructing or airlines. I am quite sure that the Qantas pilot program doesn't guarantee a job afterward. If you are persistent, you will get a job eventually. Don't expect to get into airlines straight away, like 90% of the pilots in Australia, we all get our experience up being charter pilots or instructors, it takes at least a few years to be considered by airlines in Australia. Don't label yourself as Indian working in Australia, just be you, a pilot who is qualified after getting CPL. Work hard and be persistent, you will be hired one day.

What questions do they ask for the ground component? Was all the flight planning done by hand or electronic?
@studybeforeflight2 жыл бұрын
The examiner basically follows the flight test form and ask questions on the topics mentioned in the form. You can find it online. I did mine by hand with the assistance of the iPad. But it can be all done using any electronics, up to you.
