My trip to Kyiv during the war. Does kindness matter?

In this video I share with you the first part of my trip to Kyiv. I haven't been there since mid February 2022 - we left before the full-scale war started. I had to go to sort out some paperwork and was expecting to experience negative emotions but what I found in Kyiv surprised me.
While showing you some footage from the beautiful capital of Ukraine, I'm talking about such component of resilience as kindness and why it's important to be kind, first of all, to oneself.

The St Andrews descent street wall mural at 15.58 of the Ukranian girl by painters Oleksiy Kislov and Julien Malland has been my home screen wallpaper on my laptop for the past 4 years .This mural with the mural of Lesya Ukrainka (my phone home screen wallpaper ) in Shevchenko district are my two favorite murals.I also think that the St Andrews descent path to Podil is the most sugoi, kawai and romantic stroll oen can get 💙💛💙💛

Hi Anna! Thanks for the video and appreciated your effort. I would like to ask: I have friends in Kyiv and would like to visit them without telling them. What locals are think about foreign visitors and attitude to them? I don't afraid to be there if my friends are live in there everyday and facing the situation bravely, but do not want to people offended or break their heart.

Why do you think people won't like to see you there? It's brave of you to plan to go to a country in war. I don't think locals think badly about foreign visitors, maybe the opposite. Anyway, winter isn't the best time to go there for multiple reasons, you'd better wait till spring

​@@annasan Well you know boyfriends, husbands, sons even some ladies during servicing for military and fight in the battlezone maybe, as a male foreigner I would afraid to offend them. From other perspective I believe it would be great to show someone from other countries here for empathy, share kindness and support to them, plus cash injection via foreigners would be good for locals as well. I have been in Kyiv before during winter season and I know how really cold over there but that will worth to make my smile on face of my Ukranian friends. Still searching for proper and fastest way get into Kyiv. For me seems easiest way follow Istanbul-Csinau-Lviv-Kyiv route but heard about Moldovian officers are very strict and may deport people for no any reason.
