Looks great. Now you just need new bed rail caps or maybe a new spray on liner that goes up and over the rails. Up here in Iowa, those fender flares would just be a birth place for rust, but down there they are fine. Sand them smooth and paint match them and it's all good.

Just me but i like the orange bulb in a clear light, little pop of color/contrast otherwise it seems bland. Like how easy and quick those lights can be changed on the truck. Keep up the good work

I’d love to see this thing completely blacked out. Literally everything. All lights and every piece of chrome done. I know it’s common but I still love that look. It’s common for a reason. Because it looks good.

That little connector is for the Chevys. The tail light harnesses for them have a little side marker bulb. When I put factory chevy tail lights on my GMC I has to switch out the harnesses

I like to upgrade the back tail lights on my 2005 GMC as well & I don't like the blackout lights at all and at night you can't see the tail lights or brake lights very well but I would like to know if you found a better set than this set you got. I also like to know where u found the short antenna and the number one thing I hate about these trucks are the cup holders if you find a good replacement please let me know immediately

Honestly, the clears look better with all the chrome on the grille. If the grille were color matched, it would be a toss up. The taillights are definitely an improvement over stock.

How about 1 maybe 1.25” spacers to get the tires flush or a little proud past the fender flares? Would there be rubbing issues? I like the fender flares on this body style.

Would definitely rub pretty bad. I had 35s on mine for awhile (same body style) and I rubbed on the frame, torsion bar, and my after market upper control arms. And that was with stock 17s and no spacers.

For your 3ed break light or any other lights to clean oxidation have you tried mothers mag & aluminum polish? No sanding take the crude off easily and then use a sealer for UV protection. No sanding needed works wonders.

Just put extra silicone on the seams of the headlights to keep moisture out, I’m sure you already know. Put clear bulbs on those turn signals, the light will just be almost a white instead of orange

Taking the flares off is scary. My truck had a fair amount of cancer b/c of the flares and my locale doesn’t salt the roads. It’s in the shop getting the problem rectified and should be back on Friday. I’m excited.

Looks good! I have a 2006 GMC 2500HD 4X4. Love the body style.The black looks good but after owning 4 black vehicles definitely the toughest to keep clean. Mine is white, I'm looking to replace the headlights and tailights but it seems after awhile according to reviews alot of issues come up. So, haven't pulled the trigger on anything yet but still looking. Just need some guidance on which way to go. I have the black fender flares and think it looks good against the white.

I changed my third brake light on my 05 Silverado if I had the link or remember where I got it from I would post it but it’s led and came with a gasket with it but I clear siliconed it cause I wasn’t taking chances.
