It’s issue he stated all of them other ppl tuned the car Tina of ppl have been working on it! Dude has to learn to tune or have a tuner with him at the track you tune a drag car to the conditions as in weather and track and then he knows nothing about suspension changes or how to properly work on the car 🤦‍♂️ I’d be embarrassed to me making that kinda power and have so much money in a car that doesn’t work he needs to just stick to the road course his tunes won’t fuck up that 😂 it’s sad to what and drives me and my adhd crazy

I m pretty sure that the reason the way the car is acting like that, is traction control, the reason is that if you over spin the tires and they loose traction like that it will cut power and then hit the brakes to regain control. What is happening after is the software is getting confused and not wanting to let the vehicle get back in to it power. If you want to see if it's the traction control system doing that then try the same thing with a regular set of street tires, some z rated tires, some slicks and try other types of tires. see if changing the tires will change how the car reacts. Also go and look at several pids: like the wheel speed sensors, the short term fuel trim ambient air temp sensor, the intake air temp sensor, manifold boost pressure sensor, fuel pump monitor, the fuel rail pressure sensor. Any one of those sensors getting confused or giving false data will make the car derate itself and not want to get back in to power and will never set of a dtc. I'd start there first.

What do you expect he can’t tune or work on his own shit! If one knows anything about competitive drag racing then you know you tune your car to the track not select levels. You tune your car to the conditions at the track. Lord knows what the air was and the car was probably tune in tx and here he is running those same tunes in tn! It’s commonsense! Car could be rich or be going lean and the ecu can’t fix it quick enough! He needs to learn to tune or have a tuner on site not txting or emailing files saying try this and have one shop or learn to fix the cars himself like 90% of use that drag race do.

this is why racing on a stip be it traditional drag racing or roll racing they need to allow at least 5 mph over your class. so if you running in the 150 class you can go 155 at most before its a break out, and it doesnt even have to be 5mph but at least 1 or 2 mph over

Third, No I have not spent north of $100,000 personally. But neither did Gavin on this gt350. I have spent a little north of 55k tho. And my brother has well over a 100k in his car. We've been racing our entire lives. What you're not understanding is when you're at power levels like this, issues come up. Doesn't matter if you give somebody a million and have them build you What should be in your eye a perfect car that never has an issue. It doesn't matter and it's impossible. The laundry list of things that go wrong that you can't plan for nor can you stop from happening is insanely long. This is how I know you've never been physically into this sport. Bc Anyone that is actually into it, meaning physically into it, not just KZbin comments, knows this is just part of the game. If you still don't get it, which I'm sure you don't, then you never will understand. There's not a person on this planet that has had a car built to these types of horsepower levels and never had issues. That's part of the fun and part of the sport. Build it, (regardless if you build it yourself or pay someone else) break it, build it again better. This is all common sense stuff if you're even remotely into street racing/drag racing. Don't get mad at me cuz you don't know what you're talking about 🤷

I’m fully convinced that it’s cutting fuel. Forsure go bigger injectors. Or it might be that you didn’t gap the spark plugs since your running boost, I know for the Z’s when boosted you have to do that to make consistent power and no fuel cuts. Try something like that maybe that’s the issue. Or it might also be fuel pump issues. If you have a faulty one, it’ll cause a similar issue like this. Or something with the intakes.

The Cayman GT4 RS is not available in manual I dont believe, But they basically use the same style knob/shifter and boot. Atleast to my knowledge, But they really should have a manual option for that car tho lol
