Nice! Some new upgrades have come out but more expensive (e.g. EXT suspension, DOT brakes, tires/wheels, etc.)

with this or similar batteries brakes are a big deal. I'm glad I went with a 250mm floating front rotor which definitely makes a noticable difference. The standard rear rotor/brake is just fine. Also, definitely need to go the popular Shimano brake pad route.

Es moto o vicicleta 😮

Es una motocicleta porque tiene un motor, pero se parece más a una bicicleta de montaña. Pesa alrededor de 120 libras, por lo que definitivamente es más pesada.

I wonder how much more does the bike weigh now. Did you ever do a before/after weight comparison?
@GettingthruLifeКүн бұрын
I did not do a stock surron weight test to compare to the overall weight as I modified. I can say with that where I gained weight is the 244 shink rear tire added a few pounds, the KKE 2024 fork was 4-5 lbs less then the Fast Ace fork. The RFioxa shock maybe a 1lb less. New battery 14 pounds heavier. My front rotor (floating) 250mm upgrade not much more if any. Stock wheels and front tire. pegs, rear fender, bars, skid plate about the same as stock surron. Oh yea K.O. motor and controller maybe 3 lbs gains over stock .I'd speculate maybe 18-19lbs more than stock 60v Surron. This battery's added power in massive and Ive got throttle mellowed down at every 500 rpm from 100%. Sitting on it, leaned in just back of the bars, 15mph to 30mph, 90% throttle the front wheel comes up so a whole new learning curve. I felt safe/more predictable power delivery on my Yamaha 250F and 450F. This electric power is a different world. Like a tesla, lucid, gmc hummer, and the high hp/tq rivian,,, even with under sized tires and all-season they just lay the power down.

What size spanner wrench did you use?

Out of the four I received from Amazon, I settled on the one with APU16 marking for my Surron shock. www.amazon.com/dp/B09JRL2NQG?ref=ppx_yo2ov_dt_b_fed_asin_title

@@GettingthruLife have you ridden the rfloxa shock yet? I'm about to install the same one.
@GettingthruLifeКүн бұрын
I had it installed yesterday afternoon, and only needed to ride it as little as 100ft to tell it's a big difference from what I had. I think it's going to be very good if it holds up over time. Just what I needed. (feels more solid, holds up higher in its stroke but moves smoothly and is comfortable, surron feels more robust and solid with the RFioXa installed. I have not hit more challenging jumps, kickers or some g-outs yet but I'm 99% sure I will have a grin on my face when I do. Plus I've added the additional weight of the battery and my 200lb+ round-belly body
